Paul Carroll Shoes - Morley

"Went to Morley especially to buy shoes from Paul Carroll and don’t believe I will ever go there again. Reason being when I first arrived two assistant were busy with customer but I was greeted and they wouldn’t be long. That was fine happy to wait while others being served. When sales person came to serve me she apologised for the wait which was fine as it is to be expected that you wait while others are served. She was helping with some casual shoes but also wanted ballet flats and slippers. As she was helping me another couple came in and the female went up to her and asked for a particular shoe and size. The salesperson immediately stopped helping me and started helping this newcomer. As I was sitting waiting I decided to go up to her and ask about shoes and she barely acknowledged me and saw to the other woman. Now considering zi had already waited and was in the process of being served I found the action of the salesperson extremely rude. I stood up and said thank you for not serving me and salesperson looked at me and went back to the newcomer. I usually buy many orthotic shoes from Paul Carroll and as the trip today was 80km round trip have to admit I will never go there again as the rudeness of that salesperson was unbelievable. How about you train your staff better as it was not as though she was a youngster as she quite mature so should have know her behaviour was unbelievably rude. I see from your reply below you don’t acknowledge the rudeness as there were 2 assistants and when I arrived each seeing to a customer. I waited my turn but while being served the exceptionally rude and unhelpful assistant left me to see to someone else. You really didn’t acknowledge what she did and no will never go to Paul Carroll again as even you the owner has not acknowledged what she did was wrong as it was NOT busy as you say because I was left to wait so the other customer could also have been left while I was being served."

"Old skool service from an enduring private business. My mum bought me shoe's, one pair we bought, I just kinda changed my mind. I have worked in retail and though I know they were under no obligation to do anything about this, they did. Be loyal to Paul Carol, gr8 service, product knowledge and a WA business to boot! Cheers"
