"This place has now shut, I went today and it was not there after a 30 min drive. Not sure why it’s still saying it’s open"

"Have had a pair of Boots from Windsor Smith & I am happy with them, decided to buy another pair, which I had been eyeing for some time, they were around $200 (Less Discount on offer). Worst service possible form the staff available, I asked for my size & she did not even bother to come out of the counter to serve, she got the pair form the back & handed over the Box to me which I found utterly rude. As the boots had quite an array of laces i had to meddle with them with no help form the staff, after some time I had to ask for the Shoe horn to put them on to try. NOTE that you are buying shoes form a reputable company worth $200 & not form KMART or TARGET. Once the fitting was done I was going to buy them & then she started to be very friendly and tried to up sell me on shoe cream ETC. If you buy shoes here be prepared for bad customer service for some good pair of shoes"

"I bought a pair of shoes from Windsor Smith Joondalup yesterday (Saturday), the staff member who helped me was friendly and helpful. However it was the last pair in my size so I had to have one of the shoes that had been on display, it was only when I got home that I realised the shoes were two different colours due to the one on display fading I am guessing from being on display, and the staff member musnt have noticed when boxing them. I returned to the store today (Sunday) at 3.40pm to find a sign stating that they would be back at 4pm, as I was just there to return the shoes I chose to wait outside the store, 50 minutes later at 4.30pm they had still not returned to the store... So I chose to leave as I was getting more and more frustrated and had to be somewhere by 5pm so couldnt wait any longer..."

"I have purchased Windsor Smith shoes many times over the years as I recognised them to be good value, hard-wearing and comfortable. However, when I attempted to enter the Joondalup (WA) branch on Sunday, I was driven out by excessively loud music which required the salesperson and my wife to shout at one another to be heard. I have no objection to 'mood music' being used to enhance my shopping experience, as I know that pleasant music in the background can result in both customers and staff being relaxed and amenable to a successful sales outcome. There was no chance of a sale on this occasion as I was unable to tolerate the onslaught long enough to find a pair of shoes. I recommend that you either ban the playing of music in your stores (as is the case at Florsheim in Joondalup, where I bought my shoes after a very pleasant fitting session with a salesperson who was extremely helpful) or else, have pleasant background music at a fixed level which cannot be adjusted by the store staff. Not everyone who wants to buy shoes likes the same type of music, but nobody objects to gentle background music that doesn't interfere with conversation and concentration."
