"I went here on the 29th of July and the girls there were amazing at their jobs. One sales assistant picked out lots of options for me to try and was understands of my insecurities. The girl on fitting rooms was like a breath of fresh air. So willing to help. She made me feel beautiful in all outfits I showed her and even suggested items and I got thous is the end. Just wanted to acknowledge how amazing they were. They made my day."
"Staff was very friendly, needed to exchange an item without a receipt I was able to show a statement that was good enough as it wasn’t from this store but Melbourne, obviously can’t get a refund I understood that I did need the receipt and was not upset as they’re doing their jobs and they, like everywhere else, have specific processes to follow through. Always have come here with my daughters, they have such good experience too Very nice girls here with smiles Rosalyn"
"Had the worst experience at this store the other day. I called up to place a shirt on hold so I could do an exchange. The store confirmed my item was on hold. When I get there I give one of the girls my receipt and tell her I’m here for an exchange and have an item on hold. The girl looked at my receipt and then got her coworker to get my hold. Her coworker came back and couldn’t find my hold.. I work in retail so I’m quite understanding about things like that so I accepted the fact, and told her I’ll just get a refund instead. Since there was a big line, the first girl asked the coworker to help put the refund- through which I obviously wouldn’t mind. The coworker then clears the table of receipts/papers and scrunched it all up and chucks stuff in the bin before serving me. She then asks for my receipt, which I had given earlier to the first girl but was no longer was with my top… I could not fathom what had happened. The second coworker made such a fuss about the receipt. The first girl said that she saw my receipt and could vouch for me and advised the coworker to process the refund without a receipt, but the coworker refused to process the refund without the receipt. She looked through the bin for my receipt and couldn’t find it and was quite unfriendly and pushy about the situation, demanding a bank statement. Reception in the store wasn’t great, so I had to walk out of the store to get my bank statement but she’s lucky I had one!!! What if I had paid with CASH??? (Imagine if I paid with cash- would have I gotten my refund??) In the end I got my refund but just couldn’t get over how awful the customer service was from that second girl. Couldn’t wait to leave the store. Probably never going back to this particular store ever, which is annoying because I really like the brands and stock Universal Store holds. Additionally the music is too loud it’s so awkward going in there. Much prefer stopping online and returning in store- however I have had issues refunding discount stuff from online at the whitfords store (not clearance) which is also frustrating."
"This store has horrible customer service, selling frank green bottles at full price when the packaging is quite damaged and won’t do anything if you’re bottle is faulty and send you to frank green when really head office said you are able to exchange any faulty product used or not. If you’re wanting a frank green bottle I highly recommend going on the frank green website instead of these grumpy horrible customer service people"
