"I've eaten here twice - the first was on a night when there was something on at the Astor and it was very busy so the long wait time did not surprise me too much as there were a number of tables. The second time was a lunchtime and the restaurant was empty. Again we waited and waited and waited...the food was delicious when it came out but I just wonder if it has to take so long to prepare?"

"I've been trying to dine here for a while and finale got the chance. I tried to book but the online form does not work so I tried to contact the restaurant by phone, no answer, Instagram they just say I can help but did not help. So I walked in on Saturday night and there were tables free. The place is small and cosy. The food unfortunately made me sick in the night :( When I tried the salmon bowl it was not of my taste, but nothing seemed wrong. We also ordered a roll that again was not fresh, but not really a problem. The only good things were the karage and the prawn gyozas. So not sure what made me feel bad after eating here. I understand that the place does not offer table service but the staff in the counter was not nice or quick. In general, I would not recommend this place unless you are vegan/vegetarian, if you're not, try other places."

"Absolutely delicious food,and the option of a vegan menu gave us so much choice. We tried the tempura vegetable bento box, the terriyaki tofu bento box, the salmon poke bowl, agadashi tofu and salmon sushi. We were given share plates and got to try a little of everything. Would happily order all the dishes again, rich and flavorful, the vegan salmon poke bowl taste and texture was so salmon-like, it was incredible. Service was really friendly with lots of good menu recommendations suggested. I look forward to going back again soon."

"So delicious!!! We ordered from the separate vegan menu which has SO many options, and were really happy with our dishes. The salmon nigiri was awesome, I've missed sushi since going vegan, and although it didn't taste exactly like salmon the texture was pretty close. We also ordered the yaki Udon which was so good we ate it before I could take a photo. Everything was served really quickly. Also shout out to the staff who were absolutely lovely!!! Especially the young waitress. Thank you for such a yummy meal and fabulous service!"

"My favourite place for lunch and love the salmon bowl which is of high Sashimi quality. The only annoying thing is that pigeons keep flying into the shop."
