Maestro Sourdough Pizza
About the Business
Welcome to Maestro Sourdough Pizza, located at 111C Flora Terrace in North Beach, Australia. Our establishment is a point of interest for food enthusiasts and a must-visit restaurant for those seeking an authentic Italian pizza experience.
The passion for pizza has been ingrained in our owner, Andrea Brunelli, for over a decade. Hailing from Italy, Andrea has mastered the art of pizza-making and brought his expertise to Australia. In September 2020, Maestro Sourdough Pizza was born during the global pandemic, initially serving pizzas from Andrea's home kitchen to friends and family.
What started as a small endeavor quickly grew into a thriving business, and Maestro needed a larger space to accommodate its growing popularity. Thus, our traditional, contemporary, Neapolitan style pizza shop found its home in North Beach.
At Maestro's, our specialty lies in our long-rising sourdough pizzas, prepared with traditional Italian techniques and topped with well-balanced and delicious ingredients. We also offer a diverse menu featuring appetizers, pastas, and desserts, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Not only are we known for our mouthwatering food, but also for our friendly atmosphere and exceptional service. We aim to provide an authentic Italian pizza experience that will leave you eagerly planning your next visit.
When it comes to ingredients, we prioritize quality. All our ingredients are sourced locally or imported directly from Italy, guaranteeing that every bite of your pizza is bursting with flavor. We bring a taste of Italy to Perth, allowing you to indulge in the flavors of Italy without leaving the city.
Our dough is a testament to our commitment to excellence. Combining the traditional Neapolitan Pizza guidelines with the latest kneading techniques, our "contemporary" dough is a result of high hydration, long fermentation, and quick cooking. This process ensures that our pizzas are light, easy to digest, and packed with complex flavors and aroma profiles. Our dough is naturally risen for up to 80 hours and cooked at around 480°C for 90 seconds, resulting in a pizza that is truly exceptional.
We are open Monday to Sunday, ready to serve you the best sourdough pizzas in town. Whether you're craving a classic Margherita or feeling adventurous with our specialty toppings, Maestro Sourdough Pizza is here to satisfy your pizza cravings. Join us and experience the true taste of Italy in the heart of North Beach, Australia.

"Booked via the website for a dinner reservation that night, on a Saturday. It's the second time we've been and the pizza is fantastic. We got the arancini this time to try (I'm addicted to arancini), it was delicious, but a bit cold in the middle. BYO is $3 a person so we brought our own wine. Great place for pizza I highly recommend it."
"definitely one of the best pizzas you can eat in perth. Hands down to them for being amazing and always delivering quality food."
"In my opinion the BEST pizzas in Perth. Even though they are about a 30min drive for me to get to, it is so worth it. The pizza dough is perfection - light, soft and chewy with a crispy crust. Despite being a smaller venue, the atmosphere is charming with an authentic and homely vibe. The staff also make the experience extra special with their warm and welcoming personalities. You can tell they are passionate about what they do and the incredibly delicious food they provide. The thought of their pizzas bring a smile to my face."
"Dined here with friends and their child we found a friendly environment: they provided a high chair and reserved a table inside. A few entrees to choose and a variety of pizza. Pizza is Napoletana style and very light. Overall was a nice experience."
"Went on a public holiday. We paid the surcharge, and the service was unfriendly. Not only this, there were no bathrooms. They said the bathrooms are in the restaurant next door and they were closed. My young daughter had to use the bathroom mid way through dinner, and we had nowhere to take her. Is this normal? Is it even legal for a restaurant to open without a bathroom? On top of everything, my pizza was burnt (see photo). Won’t be back, and don’t recommend."
