At Collaborative Psychology, our Senior Psychologist, Carmel Privitera, works closely with parents and children to provide a comprehensive understanding of their unique strengths and challenges in today's ever-changing and complex world. Carmel's expertise lies in helping children feel safe, heard, and understood, enabling them to gain insight into their issues, find effective solutions, and develop new skills.

With over a decade of experience as a Psychologist on the Family and Early Childhood Services (FECS) Team at Disability Services, Carmel has extensive knowledge working with families who have children diagnosed with Autism, Down Syndrome, Chromosomal abnormalities, Genetic Disorders, or those with no known diagnosis. Her expertise in this area allows her to provide tailored support to families facing various developmental challenges, alleviating internal and external pressures that often lead to increased stress.
