"Very unprofessional doctor berated a female patient in front of the entire clinic waiting room. Terrible practice"
"The worst receptionists ever. She deliberately hung up phone when I was explaining. Disappointment!"
"I would give 0 stars if I could. The receptionist, and nurse are so bloody rude! They’re incompetent at doing their basic duties such as calling you back… and when they don’t, they then blame it on you. “I’m sorry Chelsea, you’re not our only patient and we were actually very busy”. That’s not how staff should speak to patients… especially a patient that has been visiting your practice on/off for 15 years. If she was genuinely sorry that she couldn’t call me back the same day because they were busy, I would have completely understood! Healthcare workers are run off their feet! I understand that and it would have been fine. It was the fact she was so nasty, that I do not have time for. All I asked was for my blood results to be sent to my email, or printed off, due to the fact I needed them for a specialist appointment the following day. I could not get them. I went to the specialist appointment without them, basically wasting my money because I now need another appointment to discuss them. Dr Yolanda called me this morning, saying she was disappointed on ‘’my behaviour” (not her staff) and that I am not allowed back at the practice…. As if I would want to come back there!? This is also not the first time I have had issues at this practice. There has been a number of times where they have been rude, not called me back, and not updated my information in the system. They sent a very personal medical letter to the wrong address (and it was opened by accident) even though I had updated my address at least 3 times prior. I have been a receptionist before and I work with people all the time. They’re just hopeless. I would like to add in, any women needing a woman doctor, not to see Dr Yolanda. She will refuse to look after certain aspects that women need, due to her religion. Then you’ll have to speak to the male doctor there… Who made the conversation very uncomfortable. The receptionist staff’s attitude, reflect on the doctors. I’ll be keeping this in mind while searching for any other practice."
"Wynnum Manly Family Practice have been our local doctors of choice since we moved back to Wynnum Manly more than 15 years ago. I have been treated by Dr Christopher Podagiel on many occasions for various and unusual ailments during the past 7 years. I believe and know Dr. Chris to be an extremely well qualified professional, who is very well informed and caring about your ongoing health. We are very lucky to have a Doctor with his qualifications working as a GP in Wynnum/Many."
"I was given the wrong day to have a small surgery on my back. I had the card with the Friday date but was called by the doctor & abused in every manner & told to find another doctor elsewhere the day before. Charming. Apparently that was the right day. He was more worried about time lost. I now have a new doctor who is very diligent & after 2 years with the angry doctor & thinking that doctor was doing the right thing with my moles, "I've had 13 melanomas", I have just found out from my new doctor of 3 weeks I'm about to loose my ear & a large portion of my upper right back over my shoulder. This doctor P at Wynnum got angry when I said, thank's love. Don't call me love was the reply. I wouldn't send a dog to him. A very rude person. The girls at front desk were brilliant. Couldn't ask for better. That doctor needs to learn that patients DO know what their talking about & elderly women, some of us, have a tendency to say love to everyone without it having an underlying meaning. You are a fool."
