Flourish Early Learning Community

Welcome to Flourish Early Learning Community, located at Gregson Place in Caloundra, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we offer Pre-Kindy, Kindy, and Long Day Care services for your little ones. Our institution is proud to be a part of the Caloundra Christian College on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

At Flourish, we believe in fostering your child's natural curiosity and passion for discovery. We understand the importance of nurturing their imagination and encouraging them to ask questions, make connections, and try new things for the very first time. Our primary goal is to ensure that each child feels significant, empowered, and loved during their early years.

We recognize that the love for learning begins at an early age, and that's why we provide a supportive environment where your child can flourish. As part of the Caloundra Christian College learning community, our little ones become important members of the CalCC family. Our Pre-Kindy and Kindy classes have the opportunity to visit our Resource Centre, where they can enjoy listening to stories being read and utilize our Science lab to conduct experiments. They also have the privilege of participating in College events, which helps them transition smoothly to "big" school.

We offer a two-day-a-week program in Pre-Kindy for 3-4-year-olds, and a five-day fortnight program in Kindy for 4-5-year-olds. Additionally, we have the flexibility to accommodate extra days, providing up to five days a week to suit your needs. We also offer Long Day Care services from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm on weekdays, as well as Vacation Care during school holidays.

At Flourish, we understand the importance of play in a child's development. Play is the way children discover and make sense of their world. It allows them to become independent thinkers and fosters their natural creativity and imagination. Research shows that play provides the most appropriate stimulus for brain development, which is why a play-based curriculum is an integral part of our program.

Our open-ended learning program encourages your child to be curious, ask questions, and take learning risks. We believe in allowing children to engage with their passions and dive into things that interest them wholeheartedly. Little minds can be absorbed in something one day and move on to something brand new the next. This is the adventure of learning that we embrace at Flourish.
