"Lovely administrative and educational staff. The facilities is also very clean and organised. They have a little piazza for the kids to all eat their lunches. Our child didn’t stay for long due to logistical issues in our side, but if we lived closer, we would have continued going there. Miss Penny and Tracey are great, caring, and patient educators, and Miss Jenita is a pleasure to correspond with. Highly recommended centre."
"Sunkids EMP has been a blessing. By far the best childcare I have come across. The manager Jenita is caring, approachable and communicative. All educators are genuine people. Especially the lead educator in a toddler class, Miss Penny is wonderful. She has been understanding and caring since day 1. She addresses your concerns, keeps you updated with progress, and supports my girl in her daily adventures. They even corrected my girls’s fussy eating habits thanks to the chef Leanne, her food is amazing unlike other childcares. As a parent, I expect my child to be looked after like I would. The team in the centre gives me confidence that my child is in good hands. There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes in order to ensure genuine care, and the team is doing it really well. I highly recommend this centre!"
"highly recommend Sunkids Eight mile plains to anyone seeking a caring, reputable, knowledgeable childcare for their children. They go above and beyond with their extra curriculum activities, and they actually care! I’ve recommended several families here and they are all so relieved that they have finally found a childcare that cares for their children’s well-being!"
"My daughter is going to sunkids for 5 days. We originally planned to send her for 3 days but we changed our mind after meeting the educators at Sunkids. * Educators are warm-hearted at Sunkids. I was dropping my daughter at the centre the other day and she cried so loud. It made me bit worried but I had to come out of the room. At that time, I saw Jenita coming all the way from reception, to take my daughter to playground to soothe her. Jenita is the centre manager but not just a manager. She is a sincere educator who has warm heart and values strong relationship with children. * Everyone gets full attention at Sunkids. On the first trial, I was there with children for morning tea. 11-12 children were enjoying their fruit and bread and I noticed one little boy was eating very slowly. Ms Penny gave more time for him to finish his meal and it was very surprising for me to see her doing it. Because everyone eats and cleans up at the same time at the previous childcare centre. I see Penny very often. Ms Penny is always there to help children. She was taking care of one girl today who was crying on the playground when I was there to pick up my daughter. The little girl seemed she was upset after arguing over a toy with her friend. No one would want their child to be left alone crying. Ms Penny was there next to the little girl. She is just amazing. I thank to everyone who makes Sunkids EMP wonderful."
"I pulled my 2 year old out after 2 weeks as they did not make us feel welcome at all. I would always say good morning to the educators when we’d arrive and no one would respond or acknowledge us, and we were the first ones to arrive. One lady made a really rude comment to me when I first arrived. She looked at my daughter as she walked past and said “hmmm very emotional!”. We always felt so uncomfortable dropping her off and picking up as they always seemed annoyed that we were there. We always felt like they were really sick of our daughter and that they were annoyed with her. Mind you, she is a very well behaved 2 year old that has just started at a new daycare in a different state. We are very proud of how well she has done but the educators make us feel like she is an inconvenience. It was also her 2nd birthday during this time and not one of them acknowledged it. They didn’t even add me to the internal portal/app that the centre has to keep me updated. The educators would complain to us when we’d pick her up and say “ugh she wanted to sit next to me all day”. The educators are very rude and the office never answers the phone or greets you when you walk in. I absolutely do not recommend."
