"Our culinary adventure at this delightful Filipino restaurant was truly unforgettable. The crowning jewel of our dining experience was the Pirate Platter. This dish went beyond just being eye-catching and cool; it was a divine symphony of tastes that had our taste buds dancing. The fresh prawns were juicy and succulent, the seafood was of exceptional quality, and the octopus and fish added a wonderful depth to the whole ensemble. Each bite was a testament to the worthiness of its price. But the feast didn't stop there. We also indulged in the Pork Platter, an intricate mosaic of tantalizing Filipino flavours that captivated our senses. The thoughtfully crafted dish was a gustatory journey through the richness of Filipino cuisine, filled with a diversity of textures and tastes that left us craving more. Complementing the culinary delight was the welcoming staff. Their friendly demeanour and the seemingly content environment only amplified the pleasurable dining experience. A standout feature was the cleanliness - the immaculate tables demonstrated great attention to detail, lending further credence to the establishment's high standards. Our only wish was for the availability of Buko Pandan, a traditional Filipino dessert that is renowned for its refreshing blend of young coconut, pandan, and sweetened milk. This, however, did not mar our enjoyable evening. The atmosphere was lively yet peaceful, providing a perfect backdrop for a relaxed evening. Our experience was so enchanting that we're already planning our next visit. We're keen to delve deeper into the diverse palette of Filipino flavours, to experience other dishes that this rich culture has to offer. One suggestion for the restaurant management would be to play some Filipino music during service hours. The lively beats and melodious rhythms would further enhance the authenticity of the experience and set an even more vibrant ambiance. In addition, incorporating some language involvement would be an exciting touch. For example, teaching patrons simple Tagalog phrases could help foster a deeper connection with the culture. Overall, this establishment promises more than just a meal - it's an invitation to immerse oneself in the fascinating world of Filipino culture, and we cannot wait to return to continue our culinary journey."
"Been meaning to try this place for months. The greeting service was non-existent and the cashier yelled instructions to another staff member when I was giving my order so It was all pretty unprofessional The setting is good with inside and pleasant outside seating I ordered a house speciality tomato based brisket and vegetable stew and the sauce was great and the stew was pretty good. I had one of their several types of Filipino beers, one that is made by San Miguel. The bill came to $43 which is pricey in my opinion and compares badly with the other eating places nearby. They do have set menus for groups or couples which would be better value than ordering separately. Worth a try but I won't be in a hurry for a second visit"
"We've visited this place twice and each time we've ordered the bulalo soup, which is a must-try Filipino dish in my opinion, second only to sinigang. The quality of their cooking has consistently satisfied me. However, it's worth noting that some of the food items may not always be available, so don't be disappointed if you can't order everything you want. For instance, I was craving halo-halo during my last visit, but unfortunately, it was no longer available."
"First time visitors ! Staff were friendly, warm and welcoming. Water was brought to our table without asking. We thought we’d try a few different dishes from the menu. Everything we ordered was infused with tantalising flavours of super deliciousness. No huge complaints from us. We’d definitely go again."
