Reviews of Anzac Square & Memorial Galleries
"Love sitting and enjoying the peace. The gardens are beautiful."
"Nice calm place to walk around. Many buildings of historic value in the area."
"It is such a delightful visit to Anzac Square. It's not very noticeable to people generally walking past (so many workers in transit daily through there to reach work from trains), but the dividing walls down the sides of the square is made up of DISPLAYING EVERY SUBURB NAME OF QUEENSLAND - each seperated by a "/" symbol - all made out of iron steel. Can you find yours? Stop, enjoy, and search. Very relaxing and rewarding to find. Gives a sense of ownership and remembrance of those that we lost."
"A cool little park to visit with some history in the tunnel. Lots of statues with information and places to relax. An amazing place to reflect and meet up with people. Something for everyone to look after and ensure we remind everyone about what happened abd for it not to happen to again. Worth a stop while in town"
"This memorial is a beautiful treasure of statues around the gardens to show courage over many years from all who served our country. The hidden gem is the museum that is under the stairs. We found this gem by accident. The staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. There are many stories you can look at, read or to reflect. This is a must visit if in area. Took my nephew, he was so interested in everything."
