At Dr. Saibal Guha MARSAI CLINIC, we are proud to announce that we are now accepting 291 one-off assessment referrals from GPs who are comfortable continuing to care for their clients in the future. To enhance our understanding of this pathway and care provision, we recently conducted a training workshop for MBS 291. If you are a GP and would like to know more about this pathway, we encourage you to register your interest with Marina, our clinic representative.

For patients seeking a one-off assessment with Dr. Guha, we have a mental health-trained GP, Dr. Karen Veary, who can assist you. Dr. Veary will subsequently apply for and manage prescribing schedule 8 medications. Please note that Dr. Veary will only manage ADHD aspects of care, and clients' regular GPs will continue to manage their medical requirements.

If you are considering rTMS (Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) for depression, Dr. Guha is available for referrals. However, please be aware that Dr. Guha is unable to provide ongoing care post-rTMS. During the rTMS treatment at the NeuroXcell TMS clinic, Dr. Guha will be able to manage these clients.

Dr. Saibal Guha, with his extensive qualifications (MBBS, FRANZCP, MD in Psychiatry), has been practicing psychiatry for over twenty years. He initially qualified in psychiatry from India and served as a Psychiatrist with the Indian Navy for five years before coming to Australia. Dr. Guha holds both Indian and Australian psychiatric qualifications and has a special interest in adult ADHD, complex mood and anxiety disorders, neuropsychiatric conditions (with a focus on treatment involving rTMS and ECT), and neurodevelopmental conditions.

Our clinic operates on Wednesdays, with session timings from 5:45pm to 60-75 minutes. To obtain the next commencement date, please email our rooms. The fee for each session is $95, payable prior to the session. Medicare rebate of $45 is available.

We also offer an online teams platform for group meetings and courses. Our Coffee Group Meet is an important event where you can connect with fellow patients. The platform used for these meetings is Microsoft Teams, and the session timings are on Monday evenings from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Our clinic hours are as follows: Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
