About World Wellness Group
Welcome to World Wellness Group, located at Stones Corner on Stoneham Street. As an establishment focused on health and wellness, we believe that everyone deserves accessible and appropriate healthcare, regardless of who they are. Our vision is to build health equity within the Australian health system, and we recognize that this is a large and ambitious goal. We firmly believe that the health and wellbeing of our entire community cannot reach its full potential if certain sections within our community continue to be marginalized and excluded from the healthcare system.
At World Wellness Group, we work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels in the health and social care sectors. Through direct health service delivery, research, data-informed training and policy advice, philanthropy, partnerships, and by elevating the voices of diverse individuals with lived experience, we strive to create a just and inclusive health and wellness system. We measure our success by the impact we have in creating this equitable system.
This tax time, you have the opportunity to contribute to our unfunded programs that support the most disadvantaged and marginalized individuals, while also benefiting from tax deductions for donations over $2. Your contribution will go directly towards purchasing medications, pathology, radiology, and medical services for people seeking safety and protection.
Our comprehensive health services include a bulk billing GP clinic, mental health and wellbeing services, a telephone helpline, refugee and asylum healthcare, allied health, traditional medicine and wellness services, health justice, international student healthcare, and health promotion. We aim to give voice to the people we work with, recognizing the unique and valuable expertise held by individuals with lived experience. We believe their voices are of equal importance to other voices, such as professional expertise or research.
There are numerous ways to be part of the solution and support our work in delivering #HealthEquityJustice. You can contribute monetary gifts, expertise, social capital, or even your time. We are actively recruiting additional health practitioners due to the increasing demand for our services, so join our dynamic, multicultural, and highly skilled team.
Your feedback is highly valuable to us as it helps us improve our services and ensure we meet your needs. We welcome all feedback, no matter how minor you may think it is. Additionally, if you have had positive experiences with our services, please let us know so that we can pass on the compliments and continue doing what we do well. On the other hand, if you have any complaints, we encourage you to inform us so that we can make things right. We will do everything we can to fix the problem and keep you informed about the outcome. If you are unhappy with the outcome, you have the option to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Health Ombudsman.
Please note that we are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. In case of medical emergencies, please call 000. If you require healthcare services when we are closed, we recommend contacting the National Home Doctor Service on 13 74 25.
World Wellness Group acknowledges that the land on which we operate and conduct our work is the traditional territory of the Turrbul and Yuggera people. We understand the special and spiritual significance of this land to its indigenous people and the benefits it brings to social and emotional wellbeing. We pay our respect to the elders past and present of this ancient land, and we recognize that delivering equitable healthcare requires understanding, appreciating, and reflecting our respect for both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We are committed to growing and nurturing our relationship with Indigenous Australians, ensuring their rightful place in the journey towards better health outcomes for Australia, and exploring opportunities for partnerships and collaboration that benefit all.

Reviews of World Wellness Group
"The new receptionist is rude and little intimidating. Also, they didn’t tell me when the doctor is taking time off from work. So I literally just went there thinking I have an appointment, and been told that doctor is away this morning. What a wasting my time."
"Unhelpful doctors who refuse to treat you if strangers near to you might be able to hear what you’re talking about on telehealth. Do not go here and particularly to Julie-Ann if you want supportive, collaborative and solutions based approaches to health, she will only do things exactly the way they used to be done"
"When I tried to make an appointment to get my Covid-19 vaccination proof ( I am fully vaccinated with a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved vaccination), World Wellness Health and Medical Clinic did not allow me by saying I do not have a vaccination proof."
"Friendly , professional and compassionate staff and knowledgeable medical team. They all take time to listen to your concerns. Their response to Covid-19 pandemic was highly professional in terms of responding to the patients needs. WWG also provides much needed services for CALD communities in Brisbane."
"Reception has no idea what they're doing. They were given a script to fax through to a chemist, instead emailed it to the patient and told them to print it (which is illegal, no chemist will accept this). They were called again, asked to fax to the chemist the patient was present at, told the patient that they'd do it immediately. They did not, they once again emailed it to them THE NEXT DAY and said they didn't know which chemist to fax it to despite being told. Patient ended up being without medication for a week as a result and went to another clinic instead. During covid times in which scripts are frequently managed this way id avoid a clinic that employs lazy receptionists."
