I-MED Radiology Indooroopilly

"I haven't even been yet but I'm super unhappy. My specialist booked appointments on my behalf a month ago for scan and procedure tomorrow whivh are to follow up treatment done a month ago and I've flown from Adelaide for them. I had a call yesterday from the supervisor (less than 48 hours before my appointment) trying to chase up my referral and sounded like trying to cancel my procedure appointment to give to someone else. My referral should have been followed up from the clinic immediately after the appointments were booked? She's then wanted me to split my scan and procedure up over two days even though this is not being covered by Medicare - I'm here without a car and now needing to make my way two to appointments now over two days. Trying to get a hold of them is also impossible - sitting on hold for extended wait times just to discuss my appointment at either clinic. The customer service was non existent from the supervisor and I'm absolutely frustrated and appalled."

"Only reason for extra star is because of the lovely front of staff. I don’t recommend coming here. I have been twice, with both scans misdiagnosed/misread, underplaying my serious illness as ‘everything is normal’ x2. The first time they said this, I was in hospital a week later. This is the second time they’ve said all is fine in my report when I know how to read them too and I can see the measurements have not been taken correctly and it does NOT look fine. Person who took the scan was cold and didn’t do a thorough job at all, can even see she just breezed past the job at hand. Incompetent Radiology at its finest."

"Receptionists we’re absolutely lovely and the only reason I’m giving an extra star as they resolved everything kindly. I wouldn’t recommend coming here, Hazel was absolutely terrible to deal with. I told her that this was my first time getting a pelvis ultrasound, I was extremely anxious and on the verge of tears the whole time. She was extremely rude and sounded frustrated with me the whole time I was there, not a sympathetic bone in her body. Hopefully other branches have kinder, more understanding staff dealing with patients, especially those like myself who are going through a tough time already with health issues."

"Went there for my wrist ultrasound, receptionist told me it is $111.75 and have to pay it after I get it done. waited for 10 mins, went inside for ultrasound, came back and then another receptionist said it's $223.50 and other girl just mistakenly informed you the wrong amount. Afterwards, I had word with my GP and, she told me it's been happening quite frequently with her patients at i-med indooroopilly. I can't afford paying $223.50 because I am a student and my insurance people just gave me back $111.75 for a claim, which is appropriate amount. I have filed a complaint and will wait when am I going to get the remaining money back."

"The staff at I-MED are so friendly and made me feel very comfortable when I was having my test done. Kym the receptionist at the front counter, was very helpful when I called to make my appointment and when I arrived greeted me with a friendly smile and took the time to give me all the information I needed for my appointment. Highly recommend I-MED at Indooroopilly."
