Reviews of Bribie Island National Park and Recreation Area
"Great place to escape. barley have anyone near you. Great 4wd experience. Beautiful water and local wildlife"
"This place had a major refurbishment in recent times and it certainly was greatly needed. Carpark has been extended, security cameras everywhere and more do and don't signs than you can poke a stick at. This review is just about the carpark facilities, new electronic sign gives you up to date info, which at the time of this review ( 17/11/21) shows the Northern Access Track still closed. Kudos to the council for upgrading this much needed facility. Update 13/4/22 -- Beach driving times ! Update 19/5/22 & 30/5/22. Park closed until further notice, check the website for further information. Everything open except for the Northern Access Track as from 11/6/22 19/01/23, take care driving on White Patch , 4 horses have been roaming around for months and are regularly crossing the road at all hours. Update 12/7/23 .. Northern Access Track is once again open. Not sure about the duration, but currently back to being accessible."
"As a VIC tourist, it was amazing to be able to get on the sand at an amazing location, downside was the gooses who didn’t air down and blocked our trek onto the beachfront. Also don’t be like our mate and park on any vegetation as the rangers will come fine you."
"Beach offroading located close to Brisbane. The lagoons offer a leisurely spot by the water while children can play in the shallow waters. Being a National Park, pets are not allowed except in the designated areas."
"Lovely spot. We camped in swags on the beach at Mission Point. Amazing! There is a long drop a short walk away from the sites. Bring your own firewood as collecting from the bush could land you a fine. Whether they were sand flies, midges, mosquitoes or horse flies they were ridiculously fierce! Nearly carried away the youngest lad with us. Bring heavy duty bug spray with all of the Deet, you’ve been warned!"
