Reviews of Downfall Creek Dog Park
"Brilliant open space. No fences. Large area for walking with your dog off leash. Large oval for ball throwing. Beautiful trees and creek for those dogs who love water. A dog agility area as well. This dog park is split into two by a cross creek bridge. You can also walk with your dog on leash on the paved side of the creek but watch out for speedy cyclists and joggers. Our dogs are little and they absolutely love this park."
"Large offleash dog park. Nice place to go for a walk or just to go and relax"
"Unfortunately a very good park that's degraded quite a lot over the past couple of years. Flood debris clogs most of the creek, creek banks have been washed out and eroded leading to collapses and undercutting and dead trees and weeds abound. The park surface itself is a mix of hardpacked dirt, slick clay sections and swathes of standing water/mud crawling with mosquitoes. Have spent hundreds of hours chasing Council and further up the environmental chain to no avail, literally told fixing waterways is in their too hard basket."
"Possibly one of the best dog parks in brisbane. Lots of space, dog bins are emptied regularly, plenty of doggy bags, clean water is there for dogs, there is a local creek nearby which is accessible to all able bodied people. There is also plenty of street parking nearby and it is only a short walk to the park. There Is also capacity to bring bikes and ride some of the paths."
"Love this dog park. Take my pups here all the time. Be warned, there's a river, and if you have water loving dogs like I do, they will find it, so make sure you pack towels. I bought a car back-seat thing for dogs off of catch, so I have 0 problems with this. Your dogs will be very happy here and make lots of friends. There's also a couple of bins and usually the council has dog poo bags in a bin near them in case you forget your own."
