Reviews of Sandy Creek Circuit
"Loved this track, I'd recommend going right first once you hit the circuit as there are more steps this way. I saw someone said they took their 60 year old parents on this track and I would say only take them if they're experienced hikers! This track has a lot of exposed rocks and roots along the path that could definitely be trip hazards once tired."
"We did the sandy creek to Cameron’s fall. Easy to follow, just rock hopping up stream. Be sure to wear grippy shoes as some parts can be a bit slippery with all the sandy debris."
"Good circuit track through a palm grove and some rainforest done in 30 mins. Views of the west and waterfalls were obscured by the overgrowth (mostly lantana). A few stairs but nothing strenuous."
"Loved the circuit walk. Only a small glimpse at the falls. Very muddy, so wear your hiking boots. Easy trail to follow."
"2.6km round trip trail to a lookout platform from where you can catch a glimpse of the falls; as another reviewer noted, you can't really see the falls as they are behind lots of trees. We visited the falls a week after rain, and there was water and mud across the path that caused lots of people to get their shoes really muddy, including several little girls in pink sneakers. Wear boots - you won't regret it. The other leg of the circuit goes right over the water behind the falls. You can only see the water as it goes over the edge, but it is very pretty, much nicer than the viewing platform. The path was also much less muddy and wet. I am posting several photos taken with a drone. Not for the faint-hearted, but if you have a drone you may like to risk it."
