Reviews of Dundas Road remote bush camp
"Easiest remote bush camp to access in D'aguilar National Park. Park in the small side of the road carpark near the Waste Transfer Station, then walk in via the Waste Transfer Station. About 25min walk to the camp. Campsite has a storm sheter, 2 water tanks (treat/boil/filter the water), and firepit surrounded by logs."
"Great spot. Surprised to see dirt bike riders on these tracks, signs say prohibited."
"Large sheltered area with picnic table, 1.7km walk from the road, two large water tanks (treatment req), large fire pit area. On a clear night you could see the stars."
"Lovely half enclosed picnic shelter with picnic table and a fire pit. Along an easy to walk fire trail not too far from a car park. The area is beautiful with lots for trails ranging from easy to advanced. Perfect for hiking, speed-hiking or trail running. There are tanks with a tap at the shelter, an info box and the enclosed area is big enough for two sleeping bags if one is happy to sleep on the natural ground (not concreted)."
"Great spot to take the kids for an overnight hike. Very short walk to get there (just under 2 Km) but entertaining."
