Welcome to Light Line Road remote bush camp, located in the beautiful D'Aguilar National Park in Queensland, just a short distance from Brisbane City. This campground is a hidden gem that offers a peaceful and back-to-nature experience for outdoor enthusiasts.
Surrounded by majestic bloodwoods, grey gums, and tallowwood trees, this campsite provides a sense of seclusion and remoteness. Imagine waking up to misty mornings with the sun's rays filtering through the trees, and the bark glistening with moisture in the air. It's a truly magical experience.
To reach Light Line Road remote bush camp, you can either hike or bike through the sun-drenched eucalypt forest. Along the way, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of Lake Manchester. Look out for the shelter shed and water tank, which mark the location of the campsite.
If you visit during spring or autumn, you'll be rewarded with a stunning display of vivid-yellow flowers along the roads, courtesy of the Goodenia ovata plant.
Access to the campsite is easy, with sealed roads accessible by two-wheel-drive vehicles. Light Line Road remote bush camp is open 24 hours a day, allowing you to check-in after 2pm and check-out by 11am on the day of departure.

The campsite offers remote bush camping in an open eucalypt woodland, providing a unique experience surrounded by nature. While there are no designated sites, the area can accommodate a maximum of six people with two three-person tents.
Facilities at the campsite include a water tank and shelter. However, it's important to note that all water obtained in the park must be treated before drinking. There are no toilets provided, so please follow bush toileting practices.
To minimize environmental impact, it is recommended to use fuel stoves for cooking. Open fires are permitted in the provided fireplace, except during fire bans or prohibitions. Please refrain from collecting bush wood, as there are penalties for offenses.
When planning your visit, remember to pack essentials such as drinking water, a first-aid kit, rubbish bags, insect repellent, a fuel stove, a tent, sturdy shoes, and appropriate clothing.
