Founded by Julia, a former international competitive swimmer, Hampton Swim School has been serving the community for over 20 years.
At Hampton Swim School, we pride ourselves on our gentle and nurturing approach to swimming education. We believe that every achievement, no matter how small, should be celebrated. Julia, now a local mum of three, is more motivated than ever to ensure that children in our community are safe and happy in the water.
Our programs are designed for children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. We also offer classes for adults. Our team of dedicated and beloved teachers are excited to meet you and help your child develop the confidence and skills needed to thrive in the water.
One of the unique aspects of Hampton Swim School is our free swimming lessons for babies from birth to 6 months old. We also have programs for older children who may be afraid of water, children with special needs, and competitive swimmers. No matter your child's needs or abilities, we have a program that will suit them.
Our tailored 12-week programs are led by our Hampton teachers who are selected for their positive, fun, and nurturing natures. They are trained in our unique teaching philosophies and methods, which look at each child as a whole. Parents can track their child's progress through our online portal and app.
We understand that scheduling can be challenging, which is why we offer classes 7 days a week. We also offer great discounts for more frequent swimmers and families with three or more children. You can find the program that best suits your family on our website and book a free trial.
To help you decide which program is right for your child, we have a "Find Your Level" system on our website. You can also book your classes directly online for convenience.
We value the involvement of parents in our swim community, and their testimonials speak to the positive impact our programs have had on their children. Additionally, we offer free community water safety presentations for Kindergarten and Prep aged children.

"My little girl started at Hampton 6 months ago, her first lesson she loved and was very happy, however on her second swim lesson she didn't want to go in, cried, etc. Mrs Shaun was lovely and very patient with her as the whole Hampton's team. "I have been bringing my daughter for 6 months since she was 10 weeks old. I love the small class sizes and the practical, gentle approach to the water. Miss Bec is wonderful! She is so knowledgeable. Her explanations about what we’re doing, and why, really helps to solidify the lesson. I was worried about the cooler months as it’s an outdoor pool, but the water is warm and the change room is heated. It’s also great to be able to do make up classes when we can’t attend, it shows a real commitment to the children’s water skills."
"Disregard the 1 Star Review - Comes from a sad grumpy residing Neighbour who obviously didn't do his research prior to moving into his home that its a primary school in close proximity. The pool and staff are absolutely fantastic, they teach the kids important life skills & develop swimming skills to a high standard. My Daughter has improved drastically since coming here. Great Pool, Great facilities."
