Frisco Serviced Apartments

"Forget about the WIFI. It’s free because it’s non-existent and NEVER WORKS. Reception will tell you to ring the provider (Freedom I think) who will give you the run around with “I’ll reconfigure the router and open some ports etc” or a call back system where they don’t call you back but send you a text a few hours later saying: “Hi. Thank you for contacting the Freedom Internet support line. We are sorry if we were unable to attend to your concern at the time of your call due to high call volume. Please contact us again if you still need assistance. “ If you need wifi stay somewhere else. Otherwise, you’ll find this a reasonable place to stay although a bit tired in places (a lot of bits are a bit old and tired e.g. bathtub, old bed sheets etc) but for the price compared to others around the CBD it’s not bad price wise. Would suggest the owners of this establishment either get a better internet provider or remove Wi-Fi from the sales pitch."

"The apartments are clean and comfortable - the bathroom could use a refresh and was a bit tight. Service was ok - One little square face towel given (not even a proper hand towel in the bathroom). No paper towels / kleenex box to wipe surfaces in the kitchen. I had to call and ask for housekeeping and the reception didn't seem too keen on offering that. Good location and decent price for the apartment size and cleanliness but don't think it's a four-star (around 3 or 3.5)"

"Stayed for a family holiday. Basic but decent apartment. A bit tired inside. Could do with some love and it could be excellent. Bathrooms need a facelift. Friendly staff in the reception. Excellent location to the city."
