Frederick Marsden Youth Centre

Welcome to the Frederick Marsden Youth Centre, located in Kallangur on Narangba Road. Established in 1929 by successful businessman Frederick Marsden, our institution has been serving the needs of the Moreton Bay Region for almost 100 years.

At the Frederick Marsden Youth Centre (FMYC), we are dedicated to supporting disadvantaged youth and bringing young people and families together for action-packed fun. As a Not-For-Profit organization, all funds raised through our exciting Activities and Events program go back into serving the Moreton Bay Community.

In addition to our Activities Park, FMYC also supports the community through our MFP Disability Services (NDIS). We strive to assist those in need to achieve a better quality of life through Christian love, hope, and compassion.

Operating within a framework of Christian ideals and convictions, Marsden aims to positively impact the quality of life of children, young people, and families. Our logo, with its circular shape symbolizing unity, shelter, and family, and the three linked figures representing growth, team spirit, and the ties of Christian fellowship, perfectly conveys the purpose and spirit of the Frederick Marsden Youth Centre.

Although the centre was originally established as the Marsden home for boys, it has evolved over the years. Today, it operates as a camp and conference centre, with all profits directly supporting the Marsden Group and other youth-focused community groups. Our management committee has always honored Mr. Marsden's desire to help young people in the community and beyond.

At the Frederick Marsden Youth Centre, we pride ourselves on being a top-line Sports & Recreation Center, promoting an active lifestyle while instilling core values of youth development and Christian fellowship. Our facilities are designed to keep you entertained and active, offering a range of team sports games such as Archery Skirmish, Human Foosball, Soccer, and more. Additionally, we provide thrilling commando and high rope packages, as well as low rope packages for those seeking a challenge.

We ensure that you are fully engaged and entertained while maintaining the true virtues of Christian fellowship and unity. Our commitment to serving the community is made possible through the generous Community Grants support from the Moreton Bay Regional Council.
