"Lovely and serene park when visited during the midweek and midday period. Beautiful rose garden, well tended to by the gardeners. Went there during autumn-winter period, therefore most of the rose bushes were not flowering. And easy 15-20min walk to & from the Sydney street ferry terminal if taking the free Brisbane City - CityHopper/ Kittycat ferry from Southbank ferry terminal Departs at 30min intervals weekdays from 6am Has some coffee places and a New Farm Taiwanese eatery nearby the park - Yet to try."
"What a beautiful place to sit and catch up with my sister, on a bench, under a magnificent Moreton Bay Fig tree. Plenty of people watching and we were even lucky enough to watch a couple of games of "Jugger." Found a park relatively easily and the weather was on point!!"
"Beauty as far as the eye can see. With the rain, very green and lush. The playground for kids is large and well equipped. Great little cafe and toilets nearby. Close by that is a series of information boards, rather faint now and messed, which describe the history of the park; fascinating. The band stand is a lovely spot to sit, contemplate, next to the famous rose gardens. New Farm Park is easy to reach by river ferry; it has its own wharf."
"The New Farm Park in Brisbane is a must-see destination that offers a perfect combination of leisure and culture. Visitors can enjoy the park's lush greenery, botanic gardens, playgrounds, and wading pools, or take a stroll along the river. The park also hosts the Brisbane Powerhouse, which offers a variety of events such as art exhibitions and festivals. The park is easy to access and has plenty of parking, with nearby cafes and restaurants for a pre or post-park meal. Overall, an excellent place to escape the city's hustle and bustle and to explore all what the Park has to offer."
"Beautiful little park. There is a large amount of parking but it does get filled up and people end up parking along the side of the road going up through the park. If you’re happy to walk, there is street parking nearby! This park had a lot of different spaces, with play equipment, flat grassy areas, benches and seats, bbq stuff, bathrooms, and the ferry terminal! I particularly liked the rose/flower area where they just had some small garden beds of blooming flowers! It’s a nice park to have a stroll through, play with kids or pets, or sit with a friend/ couple of friends! Would recommend :)"
