About Perrin Park
Welcome to Perrin Park, a picturesque and vibrant establishment located in the heart of Toowong, on Josling Street. As a popular park and tourist attraction, Perrin Park offers a wide range of amenities and activities for visitors of all ages to enjoy.
One of the standout features of Perrin Park is its fantastic barbecue area, complete with wood-fired barbecues that are perfect for hosting a delightful outdoor gathering with family and friends. Adjacent to the barbecue area, you will find a convenient car park on Indooroopilly Road, ensuring easy access for all visitors.
For those who enjoy staying active and exploring the outdoors, Perrin Park offers a circuit pathway and an outdoor fitness/exercise trail. These amenities are ideal for joggers, walkers, and fitness enthusiasts looking to stay fit while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the park. Additionally, there is a half court available for basketball enthusiasts to practice their skills.
If you're planning a relaxing day out with your loved ones, Perrin Park has a spacious and inviting picnic area where you can unwind and enjoy a delicious meal while taking in the scenic views. Children will be delighted to discover the playground, equipped with various play structures and equipment to keep them entertained for hours.
Ensuring convenience and comfort for visitors, Perrin Park provides toilet facilities within its premises. Additionally, there are water bubblers and taps strategically placed throughout the park, allowing visitors to quench their thirst and stay hydrated during their visit. For those arriving on bikes, a bike rack is available for secure parking.
Please note that from 22 May to 19 June (weather permitting), the Brisbane City Council will be removing six pieces of out-of-date fitness equipment in Robertson Park. However, this will cause minimal disruption to park visitors, as newer fitness equipment has already been installed nearby.
At Perrin Park, we also take pride in acknowledging the traditional custodians of this land. We pay our respects to the Elders, both past and present, and recognize their ongoing connection to this Country.
Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat, a fun-filled day with family, or an opportunity to engage in outdoor activities, Perrin Park is the perfect destination. Come and experience the natural beauty and recreational opportunities that this iconic Australian park has to offer.
Reviews of Perrin Park
"It's a good park... Main attraction is the "trains" where you can place your kid and peddle them on the tracks... That's innovative and full of fun!!!"
"A great park for walking your dog, for the kids to enjoy the large playground area, or for seeing the huge number of bats in the trees near the off leash dog parks. The children’s playground is particular big, complete with a circuit peddle coaster and the usual climbing equipment. There’s a few large field areas with paths going through them, and even a large outdoor gym."
"Lovely to see the playground up & running again after being badly effected by the recent floods. Great for toddlers. Recently installed facilities include a library & bike station."
"Perrin Park is a large green space which caters well for all comers. A concrete ramp allows easy access for wheelchairs. There is an adventure playground with activities for a range of ages, barbecues, seating under two gazebos and a spectacular 4 carriage model train (pedal powered). Visit during the day to see hundreds if bats hanging , to sleep , from the upper branches of the trees along the small creek. At dusk, they wake to fly above the park! Zoom in on the photos to see just how many there are."
"Excellent park with lots of place to run, have picnics, play ball or even exercise. It's located along a calm street so it's always quiet peaceful. It has a lot of shaded tables, bbq areas, path for cycling or scooters. Has multiple play structures for all ages. They also have multiple exercise equipment for everyone to use. There is also a full basketball court open to public. You will also see lots of bats on the trees along the path. Highly recommend it."
