"Bought a $200 watch from here some time mid 2021, but after a few months it stopped working. I went in to claim a warranty and they said they would ship it to the manufacturer and would call me when it was ready. I get the first phone call yesterday (late April 2022) saying that it has been waiting to be picked up since November 2021. Absolutely disgusting customer service (as seems on par for this specific sales person according to other reviews). I say that I'd pick it up the next day and when I got there (fair enough at 5:33pm) I am rudely dismissed and scoffed at for daring to pick up my watch that they failed to tell me was available. Tldr: this store sells faulty products with customer service that would make centrelink seem fun. Go elsewhere."

"So my husband bought my engagement ring from here and over the less than two years that I had had it we constantly took it in for repairs as it was always breaking or the diamonds would fall out. We even had it re-made as well. I was always conscious of my ring and always took precaution in taking care of it. Once again one of the diamonds had fallen out so we took it in for repair and weeks later the whole entire large diamond on top just fell off. We took it in and they had said that they had had over 4 other customers come in with the same ring in the last month needing it repaired. They then said they found out the design was actually faulty but still continue to sell it now months after to this day knowing the design is faulty. The same guy who sold the ring to my husband was the one who assisted us but he was not compassionate at all and used a lot of attitude. He told us our options were to either have the same ring but re-made brand new or give us a full credit balance which we were not happy with either option so we went away to think about it. We came back the next day and decided to take the credit and use it to purchase a different set. This set was slightly higher priced which he managed to get us $100 off so we paid only $60 out of pocket. They had to have the set made as they had none in stock and we were also moving to Melbourne in a couple of days so they organised to have it sent to a Melbourne store once it was made which they complained about. Some weeks later I received a call from the guy saying they couldn’t send it due to covid their internal postage couldn’t be done interstate and wouldn’t be sent down for ages in which he used a lot of attitude with me when explaining. I was also confused about this seeing as my own job does internal postage interstate regularly every week. He was then very rude and said it was not a good time to be moving to Melbourne and then the call ended. A couple weeks went by and I received a call saying it was ready to collect at the Melbourne store. After this experience my husband was absolutely devastated and heart broken due to the fact I would no longer wear the ring he proposed to me with. As well as receiving such terrible service and ring quality that is not worth the money it is put up to sell for. The ring boxes that the ring was also put in after being repaired would always break as well. We will definitely not be buying from Prouds ever again.
