In response to the positive feedback received, we are relocating the popular Street Patio to the Top of Town after a successful trial period outside Oikos Café on Limestone Street, Ipswich Central. This move aims to further enhance the experience of our visitors, providing a comfortable and inviting space to relax and socialize.
Lastly, we are excited to announce that community organizations now have the opportunity to manage one of four council-owned community facilities. This initiative aims to foster community engagement and empower local organizations to utilize these spaces for the benefit of all.

"Always great to see local Councils setting aside big parks like this for public use. The only downside to this is that Baines Meaney Park is very under developed if your vision of a great park includes walking paths, toilets etc, and you also like to keep away from overhead high voltage power lines. There's an undercover picnic table and a very basic playground (sunshade was damaged a while back and is yet to be replaced) but that about it. The beauty of the park is the huge amount of open space making it perfect for licking a football etc ## Just a heads up though that due to local roadworks, a section of the park is fenced off in Dec 22"
"Nice sunset views and some children playing facilities, but located on a quite busy road. The park has no concrete walking path."
"Relaxing"
