"I googled BWS yesterday and found that Asahi Superdry 500ml cans were on special for $75. I took a screenshot and forwarded to my wife. After i collected her from work i visited the Spring Hill store as its on my way home. I'm a local having lived here for ten years and this is my regular bottle shop and i know all the staff personally. We dropped into the store however they were out of stock. I was told to come back today. I returned with my wife today and Robert the older guy (he is the employee subject of other derisive comments below) served us. I asked if Superdry had been delivered and he gave me a cursory "yeah", opened the only carton in view and took a six pack to the counter. No other conversation entered into. I informed him politely i wished to purchase the entire carton. He glared at me for a solid second or two, inhaled and exhaled loudly, then went vack for the carton. He swiped it through and said $85. I said, "i think there must be a mistake, i saw on your website yesterday they were $75". He said (condascengingly with a shake of his head) " and what state were you in?" I replied "Queensland, Spring Hill here is set as my local store". He checked the computer and said, "Nope. $85". I imformed him i would check my phone. Whilst i was looking he said, "can you find it?" I replied, "no". He appeared impatient as i had interrupted him loading about two pallets of stock that was stacked up in the middle of the store. He inhaled and exhaled loudly again, giving me a very clear impression he thought i was wasting his valuable time. As such i made the purchase for $85. When i departed i wasn't thanked, Robert maintained his surly appearance and rushed back to his restocking of the shelves. On exiting the store my wife reminded me i had taken a screen shot from yesterday which i had forwarded to her showing the price as $75. I wanted to show this to Robert so he wouldn't think i had been telling fibs or winding him up! I returned into the store and politely engaged him once more. I showed him the screen shot. He just gave me an impatient look and shrugged his shoulders. I reiterated his earlier suggestion that i show him where i had found on his website where it was advertised for $75. He then said, "you have already told me that was yesterday. Today is today. Yesterday was yesterday". I said, "but i came in yesterday and you were out of stock. I was told to come back today?" Robert then just kept shrugging his shoulders repeatedly and giving me a smug look repeating "yesterday. Nothing i can do about it". "Yesterday". I informed him, "that's fine, you won't have to worry about it. I'll never be back in this store ever again". FORGET about shopping here. Try the bottleshop next to the Sportsman's Hotel a couple of hundred metres up the road on Leichhardt Street. Great prices there! Also, there is an awesome fully stocked bottle shop beside the International Hotel on Boundary Street a short distsnce away. Also the Woolworth's complex has a detached bottleshop just down the road at the intersection of Boundary and Turbot. All these places have a better range, comparable prices, and no attitude. I have complained about Robert before. He just doesn't seem to get it. It's not that hard Robert, really. Try smiling once in a while and treating your customers with some basic courtesy. Your day will more than likely benefit. If you continue like this Robert i imagine you won't have a job much longer. Just saying."
"Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Would give minus stars if I could. Staff member called BEN who was supposed to be working there yesterday evening put up a "back in 5 minutes" sign and then closed the whole place down for a good 30 minutes or so at peak time on a Friday evening and walked off into the bushes behind the store!? Upon finally returning to face an angry confused crowd that had built up outside, when asked where he had been Ben simply shook his shoulders and smiled arrogantly. When I nicely told him we'd been waiting for quite a while, instead of an apology I got the same arrogant rude response?? I hope you read this Ben you lousy excuse for a man, and sincerely hope that BEN loses his job asap."
