Affectionately known as "The Guv" to locals, family, and friends, this eclectic pub takes its name from Governor Phillip, who, in 1788, celebrated in Botany Bay with a jug of porter, an old English beer.

However, what truly sets Governors Hall apart is its commitment to fostering love, respect, and reconciliation with Australia's indigenous community. Inspired by the friendship between Governor Phillip and a local indigenous man named Bennelong, who referred to each other as father and son, Governors Hall continues this tradition of unity. It is a place where all are welcome to come together and celebrate.
