Post Office Hotel Pub & Dining Hall

"My wife and I were married at the Post Office Hotel in April 2023 and we could not have picked a better venue! The entire team (especially Meg and Jen) made sure the planning was made simple and stress-free and our big day ran perfectly! The food was to die for and all of our family and friends cannot stop telling us how much fun they had."

"Great pub! Bustling atmosphere with very relaxed patrons enjoying their drinks and meals. Order at the counter from the menu and specials listed on the wall. Self serve water and drinks from the bar. Ordered Pentridge Pale Ale, refreshing, yeasty with malty notes and a Chilli Coconut Margarita with coconut rum - yummm - a little spicy. The Eggplant Chips were crumbed and crunchy and went very well with the charred eggplant mayo. Got the Chicken Parma - huge piece of breast meat. It looked overdone - surprisingly not dry but missing the melted “cheesy/tomatoey” topping. Loved the chunky chips. Also ordered their special- Seafood Pasta. Well portioned with a decent amount of seafood, tasty but way, way too salty. If the amount of capers/caper brine used was reduced by half, it would have been perfect. Great, friendly service. Despite being so very busy, food arrived timely. Well priced for quality and quantity. Family friendly."

"Not the best. Food was cold, service is a QR code thing and the price is really quite high considering the quality of food and lack of service you receive. Its a old pub but also lacks character due to a modern fitout."

"We had our wedding there in March and the venue is awesome! Jen, Meg, Caitlin and the team were great to work with and the day ran absolutely smoothly. If there were any issues, we did not know about it! The venue itself is full of character and we did minimal styling. The great thing was we were able to hire some items like candlestick holders, the neon sign amd the arbour for our ceremony which worked out really well! They also took the hassle out of having to organise my own printing and did our seating chart, table numbers and menu (I wasn't too fussed about that stuff). All the guests raved about the food and there was plenty to go around and the quality was great (shared plates to the table). It was a great day/night and all our guests had a great time!"

"The Post Office Hotel couldn't have been a more perfect venue for our ceremony and reception. All of the staff there were so incredible to work with and thought of everything! When we had to change our first look venue at the last minute Jen was so accommodating and helped us change it to have it there which was wonderful and so memorable. We heard nothing but how incredible the food was at our reception and how much they loved the relaxed vibe with the outdoor decking space.
