"Would post 0 stars if possible. My tax return was continuously not lodged and, upon calling multiple times, was told "a mistake was made and more information is required". I contacted them 2 more times asking to receive a callback (to resolve the 'more information issue') and was never contacted. Escalated to the district manager and my complaint wasn't even sent to them, but the store itself. It's been over a month and I still haven't received the call back from the DM, even after I contacted head office and raised a second escalation. I have been going to H&R Block for over 5 years and have introduced many of my friends and family to their services. I will never return and will advise my friends/family to seek other advisors. Very very poor experience."

"Do not recommend anyone do their return here. I've been going here for at least the past 4 years, never had an issue, I go out of my way to go to Wynnum just to be a loyal client really. Steve is the only agent that did my returns, all was good until Tuesday afternoon, I finished work early to attend my appointment and was pretty much done, Steve told me what my return would be, it was significantly less than the amount I was estimated on the ATO calculator and I had no problems with that. I politely asked him what it was that made the difference and all of a sudden he stood up from his chair and said alright you can leave, confused my friend who was waiting in the office with me overheard and saw his behaviour she asked what was the issue and Steve just waved his hands at us and loudly said to get out, leave. He had another person in the office who said something about a medicare levy but I couldn't hear him over Steves nonsensical behaviour and before the person could explain what it was, Steve just about put his hand on my friend (which there was no need for we were leaving) but just wanted to say that no offence was meant with the question and that I don't know what a Medicare levy is. I never asked any questions during the previous returns so how would I have known? He didn't want to listen and he didn't apologise so I left and actually I was angry after leaving because he was out of line, extremely rude to raise his voice at me because he couldn't be bothered answering a question, maybe he had better things to do and didn't want to take time but my return was only 5 minutes worth of his time including if the question was answered. I think it's time he retired. The man has lost touch with how to treat clients. I've since done my return and the agent I saw was happy to tell me what a medicare levy was."
