"Great store with very good variety"
"I like the variety packed in shelves as opposed mainstream Coles and Woolworths. They do specialise in other culinary products that makes shopping there so interesting."
"Bought 5kg Daawat rice about 6 weeks ago which we opened and found 100s of rice weevils (insects) in the bag. Expiry on the bag is 09/2021. Immediately took the rice in its original pack to the store to be told these are pre-covid bags and we dont have them in stock anymore. We explained that this is a brand new bag opened minutes before coming to the store but the owner insisted it is not their problem as the rice bag can develop insects if stored long time which is illogical since the expiry is 2021 and bags are stored in the shop for extended period anyways. We were offered to come back in 2 weeks and IF, they get this brand back in stock they may offer us this bag at half price. We respectfully declined the offer, took the bag away and disposed it off. We have been frequent customers at this store but with this experience we will take our business elsewhere."
"Very helpful, especially for a novice indian cook like me. Even printed out an easy recipe and helped me shop for the ingredients I'm unfamiliar with. Plus they ordered in a mexican ingredient I couldn't find anywhere. That's the kind of service you don't get at woolies."
"Phoned up to request a redelivery of a parcel as this is some kind of holding shop for Fastway Couriers. The guy is very typically Indian, asked him to check if a parcel was there, he lied to me saying he was busy. I physically went there and he was not. Very rude and ignorant non cooperative. Very hard to deal with. If he actually was busy, how hard is it to take someone's phone number and call back? Just plain rude.Seems like I had much the same experience as Sally Rae."
