"I've been a client of Dale Davenport of True Tattoo Custom Tattoo Studio going on 5 years now, first started seeing him in February/March 2014. With just over 120 hours of work done by him. During this time period, I've had two full sleeves of Bio-Mech/Organics/Bone-Mech, which include both hands, one of the sleeves includes a cover up, the other working around two previous tattoos. My sister has a full back piece done by him, as well as a very feminine forearm tattoo. My mother also wears his artwork on her forearm and she's 56 years old. His studio is very clean and sanitary, using only new needles/jewelry and equipment, as well as an autoclave. Along with being very welcoming, he has a big open waiting area with comfortable couches, magazines, portfolios. Framed works of paintings he has done are also on the walls, which allow you to get a feel for some of the work he likes to do. He is very upfront and honest about his work/designs. As well as designs you have in mind, Dale has no hesitation telling you if the design you want will/wont work with your skin/age or its placement, plus whether it will age well. He is very open to working with you in designing the piece(s), as well as drawing up custom work that fits your personality/lifestyle! Along with the custom work he does, he is a highly skilled cover-up artist, working with you to help get rid of those old/unwanted tattoos you may have, specifically working with you to help create something you will love and cherish for the rest of your life. The way he works with your body aesthetics is absolutely unbelievable. Placement/Stenciling is right on point to work with nerves, tendons, bone(s) and musculature. The flow of the design comes out absolutely perfect and works with the way you and your body move. Whether masculine or feminine work, he provides only the best for you. There's never a dull point. He also works along with shadows/lights for the finished piece to contrast well, whether it's dark or bright. He tells you verbally about all the do's and don'ts of the aftercare for your tattoo/piercing(s) and even has instructions on the back of his business cards so you don't forget! For a Tattoo Artist of Dale's caliber, he is very professional and very reasonably priced. There's plenty of parking, and, over all a great atmosphere. Dale is a great, genuine person to sit with, very enthusiastic and passionate about his work, providing a positive energy in a great professional environment. "I have had 2 traditional style tattoos from Dale and love them both. They are both a few years old now and have aged beautifully. When I got my tattoos I found Dale's studio to be very clean and neat, he always wears gloves and everything is very sanitary. As with the other reviewer I appreciated Dale's honesty when it came to what tattoos would suit my body and would last the longest. Would be happy to recommend to anybody and will visit again should I decide to get another tattoo."

"My best friend just recently got a tattoo at this place, now it is swollen. She can't move her arm and has a fever. While we were there we saw 1 other customer there drinking alcholi. My friend and the tattooer were messaging on fb for the tattoo. The guy did not ask for id at all. He did not wear gloves while setting up or while putting needles in the tattoo machine. There was no cling wrap on the tattoo chair, only a towel. The tattoo artist was saying u don't need to be colifide to tattoo people, you can just do it. When he was done tattooing he put hot water on a towel and pressed onto tattoo, which hurt my friend."
