The Cutting Bar $10 haircut

"It's a good, fast, cheap haircut place that's open late. Also inflation, it's $15 now. There's always some Karen hogging a seat causing a bottle neck wanting services a $15 haircut doesn't provide. Try the place for $70? Thanks cutting bar team for a great experience"

"Won't be back. Have been to this place 3 times now, the first time was fine, hair cut was decent and the price was still $10, though just about to increase to $15. Second time the hair cut was very average, hair left cut at odd lengths and the person cutting accused me of buying a $10 ticket, which is still available, not the increased $15 ticket, which is what I did purchase. Third time was today, while waiting for my turn I noticed that they have clarified on their signs that the $10 cut is for clippers all over only, while the $15 cut is for clippers on the sides and back with a cut on top. I was surprised then when I got in the chair, after purchasing a $15 ticket, and the person cutting my hair used clippers on the sides and back then a longer fitting on the clippers for the top. Did not pick up a pair of scissors once. So now I have very short hair on top when all I asked for was a trim, expecting the person to trim the tips with scissors. Very unhappy with the result. And what am I paying the extra money for if you are providing the same level of service for the more expensive option as you are advertising with the cheaper option. I was also interested to note that when a regular walked in they were told directly in from of everyone waiting that they only had to pay $10. This may have been a regular customer but how do you get regular customers with this treatment. Awful, dodgy service provided, I would have made this my regular spot, as I am quite new to the area, I give it a chance, with some apprehension after previous experiences, but after today I will not return to this place, I don't care how cheap it is."

"Love this place . The cutting bar isn't just cheap, the hair cuts are quick, efficient and as professional if not more than the more expensive places. My hair styling cost 25 but It was reall worth it. Keep in mind I wanted a male-ish haircut"

"I tend to go here because of the price. It's only $10 when usually around $25-33 everywhere else. But in saying that, you get what you pay for. Big thanks to Andy for cutting it today. I'll also mention they only take cash because they put it into a machine to print out a ticket which is old school. The barbers usually have change if you need to swap your bills for the machine."

Don’t aim for anything fancy Located opposite to Buranda shopping village, hence best to park in Buranda car park, and then go across the road ***They take only cash*** Pay your money and take a coupon as you arrive to avoid waiting longer than you should. The hair cutting Chinese ladies maintain basic hygiene. Job is quick and simple."
