"Honestly stay away from this place! It was my first time going there and don’t get me wrong the salon is beautiful but the staff are very rude to each other and it makes it awkward to listen too. For example there was a poor girl (probably very fresh into the industry) who everyone just kept yelling at or asking her very rudely to do stuff, and she just walked up honestly looking so petrified and uncomfortable!! Every single staff member in that place asked you too many questions, I walked out feeling like they had invaded my privacy and like I was at an interview, therefore I could not really relax cause I was too busy being ask 10000 different questions I came in expecting the price to be what I was quoted online (around $190) but walked out paying $285 for an apprentice to do my hair!! That’s nearly $300, at any salon that’s what an experienced senior stylist would charge. My appointment was at 9am and I did not leave until 2 after I had told them I needed to be out by 1, they continued to take after photos of my hair as I was running extremely late!! It felt like they overbooked them selves and I was left in the chair while my foils over developed for ages. The lady doing my hair comes to check on them and says “yep they are ready, I’ll come get my manager to have a look” the manager didn’t come over for atleast another half hour/45 mins, I loved my hair for the first few days but I have now noticed it looks absolutely horrible, worse then what it did before I came into that salon, it’s all faded and extremely patchy. I wanted to invest in my hair now this has throw me 10 steps back as my hair health is terrible after I came here. From looking at other reviews it seems to be the regular occurrence, do not waste your money."
"Super upset with my hair. It’s all patchy and yellow within a week of getting it done. My hair is also damaged. My wedding is in a few months and I’ve only come here as my old hair dresser shut down. I got a full head of foils done and it took 7 hours to get done, I know everyone here are apprentices but they seem to be drowning with the amount of clients they have. I felt so bad for them. The bottom half of my foils had set by the time she got the top half finished as she had to keep running off to other clients to finish their hair. A lady next to me getting her hair done was there for so long she didn’t even get time to have her hair dried she had to run out with wet hair as she had somewhere to be. I won’t be coming back here again."
"I booked in with Lauren to get a treatment, cut and blow dry. Lauren also offered to finish off with curling my hair and she exceeded my expectations. I left feeling extremely happy with my hair style and health. I definitely will booking in again with Lauren in the future, thank you so much."
"I booked into the salon to receive a balayage colour. On the day they informed me that the inspirational photo I had brought in was foils and I agreed to the change. I showed two photos and they were both brunettes but with lots of blonde. My stylist was lovely on the day but the process took 7 hours in the salon. When I got home and surveyed my hair as we often do, I felt that my hair was not very different. They had added some foils which I felt were streaky. The bottom of my hair which was light prior to my appointment was the same lightness just toned. After talking to many of my friends, they encouraged me to message the salon as they agreed that I should get it fixed. I have been to the salon a couple of times and I had a great experience so I figure why not give them a chance. I messaged them hoping they might be able to adjust my hair or offer me a partial refund. They invited me back to assess my hair after I sent them a couple of messages. It was clear that when I returned they had no intention of helping me find a solution. I had a few issues, the time and colour. The manager explained that the stylist I had was an apprentice and was learning to get faster hence the 7 hours. I explained that I didn’t feel this was fair as the online booking system has her listed as an emerging senior. I explained that I had had my hair lightened before and it has only ever taken 4 hours max. I have also had much better results with my hair in a similar condition. (I have been dark to light before) In which the manager just said well that’s how long it takes sometimes. The manager also stated that they had told me on the day my hair wasn’t going to look like those photos or be light. At no point in the 7 hours did anyone tell me that my hair was not going to turn out somewhat blonde. (Why would I come back or complain if they had told me that) My main issue with this salon is not the stylist who did my hair but the manager. I felt humiliated and belittled for simply being honest. Every issue that I raised was responded with well I don’t agree. There was no offer for a resolution just simply sorry there isn’t anything we can do for you. I would have rather them tell me from the beginning they weren’t going to help me rather than invite me in to have a conversation that went in circles and left me feeling upset and humiliated."
