"Most disgusting doctor saw my sister and made her feel bad for even coming in in the first place when she initally called to check if the centre offered what she needed and they said yes - conducted the consult with the door slightly open during a private consult that would require the door to be closed - have never been more insulted that doctor should be fired"
"Shocking care from the Triage nurse on the 23.08.23 @530pm. Assuming she was due to go home so didn’t want to deal with us. Son presented with lethargy, rapid heart rate, shallow breathing (sucking in his chest) and fever and was told to go to Redlands or Children’s hospital. All 30 mins away. How is this okay. Negligent service! Ended up going to RBH who also said they were not the best place for a child but STILL checked his vitals and supported us. I hope this triage nurse is held accountable for her shocking level of care."
"1 star cos it's a community free medical centre open 24/7 BUT what a joke !!! 3.5 hours to wait for a referral!!! And with the physio s help from next door . One doctor I understand but how long does it take to see 3 people in front of us ?!?????!!!? If you are near dying, go to the hospital they ll save your life instead of bleeding out waiting at Gundu Pa ."
"Worse health centre I have visited. Last year my mum was not diagnosed on time for shingles costing her 1 year of pain as by the time she went to another hospital it was out of time to take an antivirus that could potentially have reduced or eliminated the shingles pain. Unfortunately we had to go there again and we received the worse attention that we have received in a health care facility. After waiting more than 3 hours she was finally seen by a nurse and then a doctor. I had to leave my mum there as I needed to pick up the kids from school and Moo e else could do it for me. I explained to the staff that my mum had very limited English and was important for me to be there or at least been on the phone to translate, explain her situation and explain all the medicines she is currently taking; it was kind of ok with the doctor to do this, however I had to call back to talk to the nurse or any staff there and the answer was so rude and without even trying listening the person denied to help on the phone, even when they new that I had to leave her as I needed to pick up the kids from school. I felt extremely disappointed and I questioned myself about the care they provide to sick people that go to the emergency area to be helped. Not impressed at all!"
"Our first time at the Ophthalmology Clinic at Wynnum Community Health Centre today. Excellent service from the helpful staff at the reception to the nurses and doctors. Definitely a 5-star facility."
