"I wish I could give no stars because the treatment at this dentist is appalling. I went there to get my tooth fixed, I had to go and get a government dental card because my tooth was causing extreme pain I went in there for an emergency tooth fix and the dentist that was doing work on my tooth and the assistant were rude all because I was crying because of the sheer pain I was in, completely mocked me and made me feel ashamed to even be there, they slapped on a temporary filling and said and I quote “if you want a root canal you better go get more vouchers” like are you kidding not even 2 months later I go to another dentist they take out the temporary filling and tell me that the prior dentist didn’t clean my tooth properly and as a result my tooth had rotted away leaving me with missing half a tooth and still to this day I have issues with that tooth because of the arrogant dentist here, I would absolutely not recommend going there unless you want a botched tooth"
"Still no Responsibility taken, however the dental board found them guilty of negligence. The next step is legal action."
"I got to rb dental to get my teeth removed so quick and grate friendly staff ive had a few teeth removed and never had it done so quickly grate dentist"
"A month has passed since the botched tooth filling procedure my mother had to endure at the hands of Dr Lina Sunil. She now has two cracks on one tooth. the filling fell out, an infection occurred and the injection damaged a muscle causing unbearable pain for months. I was expecting compassion but my mum did not even receive an apology. we waited for a phone call to come. I thought it would come later, later, but later never came so I decided to go down to RB dental today. I wasn't abusive or confrontational I just wanted RB dental to do whats right but they do not have a shred of decency nor a single honest person working there. The DA flat out denied that my Mums tooth is cracked even though we have gotten a second opinion from another dentist. Her reasoning was the tooth did not have cracks before the procedure. Doesn't that mean the procedure was the reason, I pointed out. She then said no, you could see her lips curve into a smile known as dupers delight (common among lairs) as she touted that my mum must have chewed something to cause the cracks on her tooth, however as I have mentioned earlier this practice has hit the muscle with the needle meaning she cant open her mouth properly. The cracked tooth also makes it almost impossible to chew, so how could she have made the cracks herself? when I pointed this out she went on a tangent about mistakes happen. It is true that Dentists are indeed human, however they have a duty of care to their patients to check on them if they know a procedure was unsuccessful, not doing so is malpractice. There was no contact, so we had to go to them and during that appointment Dr Bhadra Ranaweera flat out denied there being an injection during the procedure. Nothing was prescribed to alleviate my mothers agony and when asked why not the DA spurted out verbal diarrhea once more. we went to the GP and got some antibiotics, in his own words he said not to go back to RB dental and encouraged us to find a new dentist to assess the damage done. In retrospect, when I saw 5 stars but only 4 reviews I was uncertain if this clinic would match its stellar accolade, 1 month later my suspicions have come to light and I without a doubt know that RB dental is not a 5 star establishment. I write this review not intending any malice upon this clinic but to ensure the community is safe from the narcissistic gaslighting and manipulation, from the callous disregard and the lack of responsibility the workers at this clinic have displayed. I am not mad but merely disappointed, all this loss, loss of time, loss of happiness, loss of money, POTENTIAL loss of my mothers tooth could have been avoided if I had chosen a dental practice that was skilled and knowledgeable. If you come here there's a chance, albeit small, there's still a chance to lose everything, you time, your sanity, your money, the money to redo the treatment, time off work etc. you have a lot to lose if you go to RB dental, it's better if you drive further to people who are more competent and honest Reading this review implies a good dentist is probably important to you, so I recommend basically all dentists in the suburb of Springfield. One Springfield clinic who I won't mention was kind enough to diagnose the two cracks and the failed filling done by RB Dental and did not charge us to fix the filling. Additionally my mothers tooth now needs metal braces inserted which will cost a lot of money, money which this clinic owes us. If you are still reading this then congrats, your wise decision to read the reviews potentially avoided lots of heartache (and toothache), you avoided going down to RB dental to get butchered with barbaric treatment and then abandoned. My advice to any reader is that time is fleeting, years go by in a blink of an eye and before you know it decades fly past, you cant spend your life lowering you standards by going to clinics like RB Dental. Have better standards. PS If you or someone you know has also been abused or mistreated by any dental clinic then contact the following: APHRA Dental Board Australia"
