Your first session with us will involve developing an understanding of your problems and discussing what you hope to achieve from our sessions. Our experienced therapists will assess your needs and guide you through therapy length and treatment options.

Our standard sessions are 55 minutes long, allowing ample time to discuss your concerns, treatment plans, and progress. If you require longer sessions, please discuss this with your therapist, and we can accommodate your needs.

The number of sessions required varies depending on the nature and extent of the issues you are seeking assistance for. During your first session, we can make plans to review your progress after a set number of sessions, ensuring that we are on track towards your goals.

We prioritize the mental health of children, adolescents, and adults who have been assessed by a GP, paediatrician, or psychiatrist as having mental health issues. These individuals are eligible for receiving Medicare rebates. However, please note that couple and family therapy are not approved treatments under Medicare. With a Mental Health Care Plan referral by a GP, you will receive a Medicare rebate of $77.80.

To access the Medicare rebate, we recommend making an extended appointment with your GP and asking for a Mental Health Care Plan. During this appointment, discuss your reasons for seeking therapy. Your GP will assess your eligibility and create the Mental Health Care Plan, providing you with a referral letter to the therapist of your choice.
