"Wasted over $1000 and several weeks of my partners time. We live on straddie and it cost almost $700 to have our dud jeep transported to capalaba to have put on the 'jeep specialists" diagnostic machine to determine what the ongoing problem is. After plenty of communication with the employees of hammond 4wd centre we felt this would be the best action to take before we spend any more hard earned $$$ on it. Whilst hammond had it we were also going to put a new exhaust on it. After a few days Hammond said its fixed. YAY!! It was as simple as a sensor, the first thing we had replaced when the jeep started to spac out. Several weeks past and we're awaiting on the exhaust but hubby decides to take the jeep for the afternoon to go pick up a trailer and then return the jeep to wait for exhaust.$400+ for the sensor (which was only replaced months prior) and a 10 minute trip down the road and what do you know..... the jeep is still stuffed with the original problem, $1000 out of pocket, stranded on the side of the road with more $$ about to be wasted on a tow truck as hammond don't care to help. What an absolute waste of our hard earned dollars, as well as many weeks wasted waiting for the 'jeep specialists' to fix the jeep. Massive thumbs down and a warning to all....."
"Took car in to get auto transmission cooler replaced and find a lag issue. Literally three days and nothing fixed and were going to call me back within a few days once cooler ordered in. Over two weeks and still not a word about that nor several items I asked for quote to repair. $270 for 15 min of diagnostics and that was it. All the good reviews can’t be truthful."
