"Recommended to me by an engine reconditioning business I was using. To remove and refit the engine before, and after rebuilding, in my Navara utility. Pretty simple. Small engine. Heaps of room to work. Yet, not too much care taken it seems. Upon collecting said vehicle. The air conditioning no longer produced cold air. Was ridiculously cold prior to the performed procedure. Throttle cable adjustment assembly left hanging, not attached Alternator had been dropped substantially, bent the pulley and shaft on impact. No longer charged the battery. Ruined the belts on starting and running the vehicle home. Not to mention replacing 30klm old spark plugs. Soon taken off the invoice without question when called out for it. Bring it back they say. To repair items previously not broken, and functioning perfectly. Yeah na. Wouldn't trust their ability to put air in the air filter. $1200 worth of repairs needed, caused by them. Never again. And the $300 tow. Id hate for it to have been a more complex engine."
