"Went down to get a quote on some scratches on my car Paul helped me get rid of the scratches instantly ! This bloke is seriously a top guy! Thanks again mate! Normally Ideally I wouldn’t want to come back to a repair shop for the wrong reasons but if you ever need to go see Paul! He will help you out !"
"Good place, got my Prado front bumper repaired. Excellent communication from the reception, as well as during the quoting process. Highly appreciate the attitude as I felt valued as a customer. Would go there again."
"Super impressed with Rolscar. Not only did the owner show care and attention to his business and repair management, I saw him show compassion to others. This is where I'll request my car go if in the unfortunate event my cars get into dingles."
"Rolscar Smash did an EXCELLENT job! The staff were so happy to help in every way they could. They towed my vehicle into their workshop and kept me updated they whole way through repair process. Picked up my car yesterday and could not fault a single thing. Colour match & paint job is spot on."
"BEWARE! Misleading and dishonest customer service at Rolscar Smash Repairs. Insurance and private job. Read on about my experience. My car was damaged in the hail and had pre existing scratches, which Paul quoted on earlier in the year. After the hail storm, I spent 20 minutes speaking to the owner, Paul, about choice of repairer, eventually convincing me not to go with my insurances preferred repairer. After going to my insurances preferred repairer, who could’ve fit me in within a week, I decided to go back to Rolscar Smash Repairs. Paul stated that because I had come back and brought the insurance job, he’d look at the original quote - look after me and give me a better deal for the private job (scratches). He sent me a quote via email, to which I accepted the same day. After waiting 5 weeks to get in, and after having my car for over a week, I received a call from Simon, the day before it was due to be picked up, stating that the insurance job was complete but there is no way that they can complete the private job at the cost that the owner, Paul, had quoted. Paul now ‘can’t remember’ ever speaking to me or anything about the quote and has told Simon that he does not want to speak to me because he does not want the confrontation. The quote that was sent to me via email and to which I accepted via reply email, is now apparently a typo and is too cheap, even though they had the previous quote from earlier in the year and photos, which make it very clear what needed to be repaired. The typo consisted of Paul entering spoiler instead of front bumper (no spoiler on my car), which is a confusing typo for someone who has worked with cars for so many years, and considering the units and estimated amount were still entered and the same as the original quote, it seems like a very strange ‘typo’. Another ‘typo’ included the quote not having the correct model of car on it, not even close. They now won’t honour the accepted quote and suggested that maybe due to the confusion (no confusion as the original quote outlines exactly what needs to be repaired) that they shouldn’t do the private job. My car has been at their shop for a total of 10 days with nothing completed other than the hail damage. I was told on Monday that they were waiting for a part and it would be ready to be picked up at 12pm on Tuesday. Nobody called me on Tuesday, so I called at 11.30am to find out what was happening, to be told the part didn’t arrive but it was coming in the afternoon run. I was contacted in the afternoon and advised the part did not come again and to be told it will be here on the Wednesday morning run. Again, on Wednesday, no contact from Rolscar Smash Repairs, so I followed up at 11.20am to find out what was happening. I was then told that the part didn’t arrive again and that it will come on the afternoon run. And then guess what, it didn’t arrive on the afternoon run, you get where I’m going. Once I received my car back, the hail damage was repaired, which was fine. However, the boot was not put back on properly, leaving a gap on one side, resulting in the boot not being able to close properly, due to it not lining up with the latch. Pictures show the significant difference between the left and right side. Very poor workmanship and extremely disappointing. No compensation or apology offered for the extreme inconvenience and lack of customer service by Simon and Paul - particularly considering they’ve only completed half the job and the whole job was due to be completed yesterday. Dishonest customer service by Paul Taaffe who just wanted the insurance job. Paul and Simon, you have my phone number and email on file, I’d appreciate the courtesy of an apology. I’m a young female and realise I’ve had the wool pulled over my eyes - learn from my experience."
