As part of her advanced training, she also undertook additional training at Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide, specializing in Fertility, Reproductive Medicine, and Minimal Invasive Surgery. In 2016, she obtained her FRANZCOG (Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists).

Dr Cheah is committed to providing exceptional care in both public and private sectors. She currently holds a public appointment at Monash Health, where she is one of the senior clinicians in the Menstrual Management Clinic. In addition to her clinical role, she serves as the DRANZCOG (Diploma of Obstetrics) training supervisor, actively participating in training and mentoring registrars and medical students. Dr Cheah strongly believes in the power of teamwork and commitment to enhance patient care. She coordinates and runs the Vic PROMPT Obstetrics emergency training program and is a member of the Practice Improvement Committee at Monash Health. Furthermore, she is an Obstetrics Lead in the Women's Healthcare Australasia Collaboration, contributing to the nationwide effort to reduce severe perineal trauma.

As a member of the Australasian Gynaecology Endoscopic Society (AGES), Dr Cheah specializes in fertility surgery and minimally invasive surgery. She is one of the few surgeons credentialed to perform and teach advanced laparoscopic gynecological procedures. Her expertise and dedication make her a sought-after specialist in her field.
