Our team at Mac Forbes Wines is made up of clever and passionate individuals who contribute greatly to this demanding and slightly wild ride off the beaten track. Mac himself, the founder, is still like a kid in the playground, constantly seeking to learn more about the Yarra Valley. His commitment and belief in this journey are unwavering, and he finds both frantic and considered joy in the process.

Owen, our viticulturist, manages the micro and macro aspects of multiple sites with a sneaky smile. He is dedicated to long-term improvements in the vineyard and is equally excited about what lies below the ground as above it. Owen plays a crucial role in driving our viticulture program, ensuring the health and diversity of our sites.

In the cellar, we have Hannah, our talented winemaker and superstar. Hannah nurtures our wines from grape to glass, with a particular love for Riesling and a respect for science. She advocates for "minimal intervention/maximum attention" production, creating wines of exceptional quality. Hannah is also passionate about sustainability and constantly challenges us to be better in all aspects of our business.

Beyond our commitment to crafting exceptional wines, we also acknowledge the traditional Aboriginal owners of the land throughout Victoria. We pay our respects to their culture and their Elders, past, present, and future.
