"Booked this little gem for a lunch date with my mum today. We were so pleasantly surprised. We ordered oysters with a vinegar mignonette to start. They were the freshest oysters we’ve ever had. Then we had some beautiful sourdough with whipped olive oil and balsamic vinegar to share. The bread was fresh and the olive oil whip, light and airy. For main we both had the steak frites, cooked medium to perfection. That Café de Paris herb butter is so savoury and delicious. To end the meal we had the tiramisu and cappuccinos. The tiramisu was sweet, light and fresh and the coffees were perfect. The ambience is beautiful, chic and jazzy. The service was stellar, loved meeting one of our servers, Molly who was so personable and lovely to speak to. We will definitely be coming back here, and recommending to friends and family. "Always a 5 star experience. Last night I had the pasta special. Such great value and delicious. But you know what I enjoy just as much? The delightful service and the lovely ambiance. It's so easy to spend the evening seated at the bar eating delicious good, watching the chefs work and the sun set."

"Delectable food. Must have the degustation menu one day. The dishes came out like art works and tasting fabulous. I would give them a Michelin hat! Staff very friendly and knowledgeable, and keen to help and explain with an abundance of smiles. It was no wonder this place was filled to capacity this Saturday night. Given the crowd I was even more impressed with the efficient service and attention to detail in dishes served. Coming from Tasmania I did find the total bill high, but this is Melbourne bistro dining at its finest."
