"Review for new cafe operating out of this premises - called Little Fletcher. Ambience, menu and meals look amazing. However myself and partner commented the food was bland. We had such high hopes. Hopefully they can improve and we will be back. Otherwise we prefer it under the old name."
"Under new ownership! Little Fletcher (formerly Copper and Spoon) is a popular local haunt. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast and coffee. Terrific atmosphere and friendly hospitality. Look forward to going again!"
"Copper and Spoon has potential but still tones of important things to improve. We asked to a staff member and it turns out that the place has been operating under new owner since January 2023. Enough time on the business to learn about it, so I don’t understand why they let certain details to happen. These are my observations: - NOT ACCEPTABLE AT ALL to keep people waiting for over an hour for a meal, and it’s even worst if you delay that much at lunchtime. You just can’t do that! - toilets requiere cleaning more often and please, put something in there to dry your hands. - we ordered mushroom love, it was delicious and flavorful, BUT, you just can’t be so stingy with mushrooms !!! Is the name of the dish!!!… plus, unbelievable how stingy was the goat cheese on top. You’re charging a fair enough price for that meal ($18.50) and I know you can do better than that. Moreover, the toast was too thin and burnt in some parts. - the building is pretty, it’s an old house turned into a coffee shop and restaurant. It has a nice fireplace. So you already have a good venue, now you just need to focus on the service. - STAFF: the lady attending the tables was nice and polite. There was a man attending as well, it would be nice if he could polish a bit his manners and be more polite. Sorry, but I’m not interested to come back to this place, there are many other options in the area. Plus, of everything stays like I saw today, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone else neither."
"When we arrived we were greeted by the owner who is so proud of his business so we knew the food is going to be good and this place feels like the spiritual part of the local community with food that did not disappoint."
"Came based on the good reviews. Was here for breakfast, however a couple of the items we wanted - brisket and the hazelnut banana bread were not available which did not leave me with many options as I’m not an egg fan so ended up with simple sour dough toast. And simple it was. Very tiny slices for the price you are paying. Others had to settle for the breakfast burger only to have them come back and say the kitchen ran out of relish, so it was pretty much an egg roll. The granola did not have the poached pear as advertised also. Not worth the money spent. I would suggest you tell people right from the start when handing out the menus, about unavailable items instead of going back n’ forth telling them. Cute having sugar in a tea cup, but how many flies & dust would have settled on that as it has no cover."
