"Modern and fast ferry service, albeit running more than an hour late for our return journey (Dunwich to Cleveland) on a Friday afternoon. Pretty expensive too, but the have a monopoly."

"Stradbroke Ferries are the one and only car ferry company that travels from Cleveland to Dunwich. The Big Red Cat ferry was bought out by Stradbroke Ferries. It has a cafe upstairs that has great seating options for small and large groups. Next level up is an outdoors seating option where you can enjoy the breeze and the views. It takes about 45 minutes of travel and you are required to book before you travel."
"Terrible experience. They sold me a holiday that I didn't get. On arrival I was told that the place I'd booked and paid for in advance had been rented to someone else! I had to put up with a hut with a tarpaulin holding the roof down, sharing with spiders , dead cockroaches and filth. This company holds no responsibility, apparently. So be aware the web site is not accurate and you will get no come back from Stradbroke Getaways. Have a look at the photo's,,,,,,I like the toilet seat the best followed by the filthy table which I found under a table cloth. A health hazard and a rip off!"
