"Guyatt Park is situated in the northern part of St Lucia and serves as a connecting point to a larger park. It offers a convenient transportation option for residents of North St Lucia who wish to travel to the city. However, I have reservations about its popularity as it may potentially be the least utilized ferry terminal for the CityCat service, primarily due to its location. The population density in North St Lucia is not particularly high, which could contribute to lower usage of this terminal compared to others in more densely populated areas. Additionally, its proximity to the park presents a minor inconvenience for individuals wishing to access the terminal, as they must navigate through the park before reaching it. That being said, Guyatt Park still serves as a valuable transportation hub, especially for those residing in the northern region of St Lucia. It offers a convenient and efficient means of traveling to the city, saving commuters the hassle of dealing with traffic congestion or finding parking in the urban center. While it may not attract as much foot traffic as other ferry terminals, its location amidst natural surroundings can also be seen as a positive aspect. The park adjacent to the terminal provides a serene and picturesque environment, offering visitors an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature before embarking on their journeys. In conclusion, Guyatt Park ferry terminal in St Lucia serves as a convenient transportation option for residents of North St Lucia, connecting them to the city. Despite its potential status as the least used terminal for the CityCat service, it remains a valuable asset for those in the area. While the lower population density and the need to traverse the park to access the terminal may limit its usage, the natural surroundings of the park offer a peaceful atmosphere to commuters and visitors alike."
"A ferry terminal opposite West End ferry terminal. Goes to UQ on the right side (upstream) and City and North Shore on the left side (downstrem)."
"A beautiful park with barbecues and plenty of areas to sit and eat and enjoy a picnic. Some tables have views of the river. An excellent playground for the kids and toilets that are regularly cleaned. It even has an area that can be booked with the council for events."
"Best ferry service to commute QUT Gardens Point & St. Lucia campus. Friendly and welcoming ferry crew. Parking slot available near Guyatt Park including bicycle park rack. Paper tickets can be purchased with cash/ top-up go cards on-board. The most convenient ferry terminal. Park the car.....spend time at the park, catch the ferry and explore Brisbane ferry journey to witness amazing night & day views."
"Guyatt Park Ferry Terminal is the 3rd down-stream terminal after UQ and West End! It is adjacent to Guyatt park, which is one of the best parks in St. Lucia. The terminal is equipped with multiple roof-covered seating options, has wheel chair accessible entrance and has free car-parking options. The views of Brisbane river and West End (on the opposite bank) are simply awesome during dawn and dusk."
