Cire Services proudly operates children's services throughout the Yarra Ranges, offering a range of quality programs to cater to the needs of our community. Our programs include long day care, occasional care, outside school hours care, vacation care, and playgroups. Through these services, we provide opportunities, skills, and support for both children and families. We believe in the individuality of each child and promote a holistic approach to education and care that encompasses the overall health and wellbeing of every child in our care.

We are committed to providing a quality education and care service, and we are proud to share that in August 2016, our service was rated by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority as "Exceeding" all areas of the National Quality Standards. We inspire and nurture children's interests through hands-on experiences driven by the evidence that learning is most effective when children are supported to explore through curiosity and play. Play is considered a vital part of children's learning journey, allowing them to explore, discover, negotiate, take risks, and develop a broader understanding and curiosity of the world around them.

Families who are eligible can claim the Federal Government's child care subsidy, making our services accessible and affordable.

Our 3-year-old sessional kindergarten program prepares children for school, recognizing that two years of preparation is invaluable for their development. These sessions are held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8.30am to 1.30pm, offering a total of 10 hours per week. Families have the flexibility to choose one or both sessions.

For our 4-year-old sessional kindergarten program, we have qualified early childhood educators who deliver a play-based curriculum to help children explore, create, imagine, and discover. These sessions are held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8.30am to 1.30pm, offering a total of 15 hours per week. To be eligible for this program, children must turn 4 years of age by April 30 in the year they start kindergarten.

Cire's Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program at Yarra Junction provides a safe and stimulating environment for children outside of school hours. Our experienced early childhood educators plan and deliver engaging activities such as cooking, games, puzzles, crafts, and outdoor play. We focus on building independence and enhancing social skills in a relaxed and well-supervised setting.

Our Occasional Care Service, located at Cire Children's Services in Chirnside Park, is a valuable asset for families in need of short-term child care. Whether parents require care for employment purposes, attending appointments, or simply providing a social outlet for their child, our Occasional Care Service is here to support them.

We also offer the Gumboots supported playgroup at Yarra Junction, led by a qualified early childhood educator. This playgroup supports your child's development and learning through play, while also providing opportunities for them to interact with other children and develop their social skills. Lifelong friendships are often formed in this playgroup, which can continue through preschool and beyond. It's a great way to establish networks in your community.
