Welcome to Bayside Childcare, a unique and intimate establishment located in the heart of Frankston, Victoria. Situated on Queen Street, our small 24-place center offers a warm and welcoming environment where our dedicated Educators take the time to truly get to know your child and your family.

At Bayside Childcare, we pride ourselves on providing a home-based setting where every child can feel safe, valued, and loved. Our team of highly professional and trained educators are committed to meeting the individual development needs of each and every child in our care.

We offer long day care for children as young as 6 weeks up to 5 years old. In our baby room, our youngest learners begin to gain independence through the development of self-help skills, such as moving on their own and feeding themselves. They also engage in language development activities, such as reading books, singing songs, and enjoying nursery rhymes. Social skills, such as communication, sharing, and side-by-side play, are also nurtured. Our little ones have the opportunity to explore age-appropriate toys, engage in indoor and outdoor activities, create artwork, and participate in a variety of other stimulating learning experiences.

As our children grow older, they transition into our Kangas room, where our 2-3 year old program offers age-appropriate learning experiences tailored to each child's current level of development. Here, they learn how to play cooperatively with their peers, explore and investigate the world around them, and develop a better understanding of themselves and others. Through engaging educational materials, they develop a sense of agency as they make choices about their play and take responsibility for their actions and belongings.

Our Kinder program is designed to equip children with the necessary skills to succeed when they enter school the following year. Through a variety of educational activities, such as music, science, art, cooking, and drama, our Kinder children develop their social interaction, emotional management, language, literacy, and numeracy skills. Our tailored learning experiences cater to each child's individual needs and interests, promoting engagement and optimal learning and development.

At Bayside Childcare, we offer three separate rooms to cater to the specific needs of each age group. Our baby room can accommodate up to 8 children between the ages of 6 weeks and 2 years old. In our 2-3 year old room, we can care for up to 7 children, providing them with a variety of play-based learning activities and group time experiences. Lastly, our room for children aged 3-5 years old has a capacity for 11 children, with learning experiences regularly rotated based on their interests and goals.
