Reviews of The Coffee Emporium Strathpine
"Unfortunately, for me this great cafe has seemed to have lost some it’s spark. Whilst there were was only one other customer being served, and having a conversation with the barista, it was a bit more than the usual wait to place an order. The barista called out for another staff member to attend the counter, but no one came. With no apology for the prolonged wait, the coffee was unusually bitter and the breakfast seemed like there was no care put in. The cutlery wasn’t clean. I will give the Coffee Emporium one more try, because the standard and the staff have been better than this."
"Went today at lunch time and it was completely dead, no customers, the cafe on the opposite side was live and packed with people. There was a scooter parked right in the entrance right at the first table and chair with an helmet and a plastic bag and was not a customers perhaps the workers friend but found the Parking of a scooter within a cafe in a shopping centre was odd. Sat at a table and noticed mostly tables have not been wiped and had crumbs, not cleaned, large amount of flies in the pastry glass window. For a quiet cafe with hardly any customers you’d think it would be clean and staff would look keen for customers to walk in but sadly no. I used to enjoy coming here with my family, we used to be regulars over a year ago when it used to have warm friendly staff, and cleanliness, now it looks quite sad, something has gone wrong and it can be seen, I’m sad for this little cafe."
"I have become a regular visitor to this lovely location. The staff are beautiful and interact with a genuine interest in making you feel comfortable, welcome and deeply considered. The meals are well priced, quite yummy and well presented. The atmosphere is peaceful, most enjoyable to be part of and to settle into for a little break from the bustle of life. I would suggest this definitely a nice little nook to give a moment to next time your considering a beverage or a bite to eat."
"Honestly one the most enjoyable visits to a coffee franchise I've experienced in years. The service was personal, kind and fast. We sat in the sun outside on a lovely day. The coffee is ok, standard house coffee not on the strong side but void of bitterness and generous in a regular serve. We settled on a brunch item of smoked salmon wraps, well made and lightly toasted, delicious. Menu is standard cafe contemporary with all your favorites well executed. Cakes and pastries are the greatest hits you can get everywhere and bought in. Great options for everyone including gluten free. The owner was so accommodating cutting or croissant in half so we could share. Higher end prices. Good disability access. This is great venue! Locals support this cafe as they employ wonderful young people."
"Coffee is delicious and hot, just how it should be! The staff are always so friendly & attentive! Indoor and outdoor seating options. A range of fresh baked sweet treats too. Try the banana bread or chocolate muffin. Eggs Benedict is well made. The pancakes were fresh and a generous size for the price! :)"
