We have found the communication to the kids resort community to be excellent, the educator really care about the children attending and form strong bonds with them. We receive daily updates on photos and activities the class has conducted throughout the day"

Both educators and staff are always welcoming and easy to get along with and our needs have always been met. The kinder program is excellent so much so that the local Catholic primary school always comments that they know which kids come from Kids Resort due to their great knowledge and attitudes. "We had a really bad experience at this childcare centre as the management here isn't flexible at all. Every time I remember raising any concerns about my child's welfare their response was very defensive. I later learned that being a family run centre you cannot really escalate any issues as you are essentially complaining about the daughter to the mother or the sister so it doesn't really get anywhere. We finally finished up at the centre when I requested them to not put my son for a nap anymore as he sleeps 13 hours at night and having a nap in the day was making him really cranky and difficult at night. I was told that as per the department of education they are unable to do so as they follow the guidelines from them. After speaking to the department of education myself I was advised that I was being misled. They offered to speak to the centre to bring it up with them or asked me to enrol my son at another centre. I was in shock to realise how I was completely mislead by them. I remember one of the educators stating "those are the rules of the department and they are not going to change it for one kid but feel free to call them if you want". I am just so glad I did. During my discussions with other centres in point cook I realised all other centres were happy to accommodate my request and we finally locked a nearby centre for my son where he's been going for nearly two weeks now and we couldn't be happier with the change. I hope my review helps other families make the best decision for their child."
